Terrace Grill and Bar

The food is really good and the service is good. Me and my friend were enjoy it very much.

Very disappointed. Limited menu. No ambience. Steaks were OK but no offer of side dishes. 15% Service expected. Poor.

I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. The delicious starters were overshadowed by the long wait for a terrible main dish. It was bland, almost cold, and partially burnt. Post Xmas theatre dinner, very early evening, so restaurant quite quiet. Apart from them having lost the booking (thanks, open table! , everything was lovely. Great glass atrium, good seats, festive decor. Accommodating service, pretty dinners, good location. Super touristy but good people watching.

I informed the restaurant receptionist that an elderly lady who had not visited The Terrace before would be joining me. She kindly arranged for the lady to be greeted at the hotel entrance and escorted to our table. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. It was a truly memorable dining experience.

So who is it who is giving this review ? I don’t usually write reviews, but I was compelled to do so after my visit here. I work in London, eat regularly within it. My regular places I eat are J Sheekeys and The Beaumont Hotel. Service at Terrace, was unconfident and s l o w. Food is poor. The Terrace would maybe be good for a coffee or drinks and nibbles. When I made the reservation, it was not made clear that there was a fixed menu priced at £54 per person. My mother and aunt were not informed until we were seated for lunch. I had mentioned that I was treating them, so changing plans was not an option. The price made them feel uneasy. It is crucial for the restaurant to clarify set menu options at the time of booking. Nevertheless, despite this mishap, I would still be willing to dine there again.

The hospitality at this restaurant is top-notch! The staff is incredibly welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious. We decided to share our meals so we could try a little bit of everything. The seafood platter, both the appetizer and main course, was excellent. The portions were generous and cooked perfectly. We also tried the liver pate and deconstructed beef Wellington, which were both outstanding. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I had a wonderful experience dining at Terrace on Piccadilly! The food was delicious and well-portioned, with prices that were reasonable for London, especially in the West End. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and professional. When I mentioned that it was my girlfriend's birthday when booking our reservation, they surprised us with a complimentary extra starter and dessert plate, both with 'Happy Birthday!' written on them in chocolate sauce.
