"I 've been here a number of times over the years and always enjoyed it... But this is my first visit post-COVID. Table as reserved and offered the drinks menu/wine list. Low alcohol beer? Unfortunately not (quote! ... in fact no beer listed at all. Coffee ordered and it was, without doubt, the worst cup of coffee I can remember. Bitter and stewed... Essentially, the menu works by offering a choice of fillings mounted in the usual Mexican style offerings. Given the proud boast of 18 different seasonings used in their chilli con carne, I chose that for my chimichanga (unfried burrito style which promised Mexican rice and refried beans, together with cheese, soured cream and guacamole. Even at 6pm, the place was busy, so a 15 minute wait ensued. When my food arrived, I was surprised to see the burrito with a squirt of something white, a squirt of something yellow, a dollop of refried beans and a small portion of vaguely warm rice. Tucking into the tortilla parcel, I discovered a warm brown mixture of beans, and mince. Flavour was absent... Just heat. I ate up without complaint. We were attending a performance at the cathedral, so time was tight Eventually one of the table staff noticed that we had finished. And offered the Dessert Menu. We accepted and she disappeared to fetch one, returning a few minutes later. The staff, though smart and pleasant, seemed much more interested in their own conversations and generally failed to scan tables as they walked through the restaurant. Our ordered churros duly arrived and were excellent. So we ate up and paid... (Now running a little late ... And left, never to return."

I have passed by Tequila's many times, but never actually stopped in until now. The entrance is very charming.

Amazing fajitas and great service. Relaxing and value for money. A smile from the waiter. Warm and cosy on a cold evening

Really friendly staff, good options for the vegetarians/gluten free members of our party it is just a shame that the food was average!

We arrived without a reservation on a bustling Sunday evening during Steam Punk weekend in Lincoln. The restaurant was busy, but we were still seated promptly. Voir le carte

The food was mediocre. They used inexpensive cheese sauce instead of real cheese on some dishes, like the nachos, which is something you wouldn't find in Mexico or the US.

One of my favourite restaurants in lincoln. last night was lively and the two girls in the restaurant worked well to stay organised. Food was brilliant as always, 10/10 recommend.

Don't know how anyone could leave this place a bad review! Food is always great, waiting staff are friendly and work so hard. We ate there last night and agreed it remains our favourite restaurant in the bail Voir le carte

not bad. no bad Mexican food. it is a little on the small side, especially after the new renovation, but its well presented as eating. Good choice of delicious Mexican classics, all with a bit of cook flare and a reasonable price. they need to work on a better margahrita and a better choice of Mexican beer would be good. no worse place to come before a night with a group.

where did everything go wrong?. used to a great place for a beautiful authentic Mexican night outside, then something terrible happened, it morphed in cafe zoot, same decor same sauces and dressings, cheaper ingredients, less chic and more supposed flair. less joy therefore arises. they save their disappointment and go on chimichanga on the brayford, beautiful atmosphere and great authentic food, no plastic gimmicky recycled müll.

"We always have a great meal here. Kine is a little bit different to a lot of restaurants around Lincoln. It totally has it 's own style and vibe. The menu is very compact, with just a handful of starters, mains and deserts. But... That is precisely why I like it. Each option (and I have been 3 times now) is well crafted, full of flavour and just a little bit different AND totally accesible. Everything option feels special, but not intimidating. The battered green beans are incredible, the n 'duja mac 'N ' cheese balls are great, the spiced koftas are full of flavour. The vege options are just as appealing and tasty as the meat options, which for me is an excellent reflection on the creativity and talent of the team. The front of house staff are accomodating, charming, polite and fun and the whole vibe has a bit of the je ne sais quoi about it. For a meal out for a couple, or small group who appreciate good honest and interesting food, I would highly recommend it. Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian meals, which are just as tasty as the meat options. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Key Lime Pie, Crispy Tempura Green, Salted Caramel Macadamia Chocolate Tart, Tempura Green Beans and Roasted Cauliflower Hummus, Ras El Hanout Spiced Koftas Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes"
