"We had dinner on Weds 3rd August at Swadesh in Lordship Lane London as a wedding anniversary occasion with our two teenage children, who love Indian food. The dinner was delicious and I would thoroughly recommend the food. However, the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant was inauspicious a dull exterior, rather 'caf ' than 'cafe ' interior and we were the only customers. We would go again but think it was the wrong choice probably for a summer mid week evening!"

Lovely meal at Swadesh in East Dulwich. Excellent mixed starter, and tasty veg thali and murgh makhani, all at reasonable prices.

Really good food. We were quite impressed given the price. The service was good but needed some tweeking for example, we were not offered drinks until we ordered food which took a while

Nice venue. Difficult to judge the ambience as we went on a Sunday evening and were the only diners. Food was good quality though and while service wasn't brilliant, for the price would definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic night at the swadesh! The food was great and big portions as well. We where well full after the main course so no chance of fitting a desert in! With the 50% off all food this deal was great value for money. Voir le carte

The food and service at Swadesh are excellent as always. We brought our friends who also loved the restaurant, the delicious food, the great service, reasonable prices, and the fact that they have Cobra on tap! Overall, it was a fantastic evening. Thank you once again, Swadesh.

Swadesh never fails to deliver and last night was no exception. The new menu was well received. We tried the stuffed green peppers to start as a refreshing veggie option. The chef special chicken was delicious. Swadesh definitely stands out from all the other Indian restaurants on Lordship Lane. We will be back soon.
