Found this lovely cafe in the back streets of Appledore, great service, the Victoria Sponge, was the best I have ever tasted in years ,all home made, along with tea and coffee

This small coffee shop and cafe located just off the main quay in Appledore is a great find. The staff are friendly and attentive, making it a worthwhile stop for a delicious coffee and cake.

Was told it was table service, waited in garden 20 mins, waitress walked passed 3 times.. zero response or acknowledgement.. gave up ! Cafe very quiet .. hate to think of the service when busy Voir le carte

Returned to this Tea Shop after good experience last year. It was not cheap then but the 2023 pricing is extortionate. True it says on the menu £2 will be added to the cost of gluten free cakes or scones but if you are...

I visited Appledore on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022. It's a charming village located 6 miles west of Barnstaple and 3 miles north of Bideford. I had lunch at Market Street Kitchen, which included soup and an afternoon tea/sandwich combo. The atmosphere was pleasant and there were options to buy local crafts as well. I highly recommend it.

We visited today on a wet and drizzly day after doing some crabbing. We are a family of 5 and received a warm welcome from the lovely staff. My husband had the crab sandwich and I had the tuna open toastie. It was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend. The children all cleared their plates too. This was a lovely find on the little back streets of Appledore that I would recommend to anybody!

Waited a while to be seated. Waited even longer to have our order taken. Waited along time for our order to come out which came out in stages. Hot drinks first, nearly finished them by the time 2 milkshakes arrived and the milkshakes had nearly been finished by the time our scones arrived. One fruit scone cold the other fruit scone to hot to touch! Asked if we could have a cold one as we didn't asked for them to be warmed and it was for a child.
