"We haven't eaten so well for a long time! Everything was very tastefully prepared (Bratkartoffeln could have spiced too much, which could have been a mistake) they still tasted and the Scavenger thin with delicious panade! Steak perfectly roasted,Ofenkartoffel was also one of the best I ever eaten and the salad had a delicious sauce and was super composed! The food is really so good that we plan our next visit! It also has a great location, we sat outside overlooking the church."

"I had dinner with two friends at Ristorante-Pizzeria Da Domenic on 13 October. One friend order only the Tortellini in Brodo soup and the other calamari tubes (no rings) and I had the Caprese pizza. The pizza serving was enough for two to share with...a salad. As it was I left on piece of pizza. Interestingly, the mozzarella and tomato were added to the top of the pizza after it had been baked. This was fine, I am just used to all of a pizza’s toppings being backed with the pizza. We all enjoyed our meals and the attentive service. The prices are quite reasonable for the provided food and service."

"Our amazing dinner started with a warm goat cheese salad on a bed of arugula with chopped tomato, pumpkin and radish. It may have been the best salad I’ve ever had. Dinner followed with a delicious duck breast with red cabbage and a dumpling. The...other person’s entree was black ink pasta with a seafood medley. Both entrees were extraordinary. The dessert we chose was a light chocolate cake with a warm rich chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream. What a wonderful meal from the beginning to end. The staff were very helpful as we speak no German. They were warm and welcoming to all guests. If we lived closer than Chicago, we would certainly return."

"We were greeted by two dogs. Which is unhygienic for a restaurant. Horrible service. 40 minutes after we got our drinks, we had to get up and ask if the kitchen is open, because the owner, who was also the server, did not come back to ask if we want to order food. He shrugs it off with the words „we don’t force anybody to order food, if you want food you have to tell me“. Every interaction with the owner made him seem very arrogant and presumptuous. The owner has been in the food service industry for over 20 years, but the service is absurd. After googling I came across an interview where he said „You have to have this profession in your blood“, which clearly he doesn’t. Needles to say, while reading other reviews this isn‘t because he has had a bad day, but rather a reoccurring behavior. The food was good and the premise looks good. I really wanted to come back here. Not with the current owner though."

"Baulich bedient liegt das Lokal im Keller, was den dunklen Eindruck etwas erhöht. Die Einrichtung ist Geschmackssache, ich persönlich empfinde es für "altbacken".Bei schönem Wetter haben sie eine Terrasse zum raussitzen.Personal wirkt manchmal etwas orientierungslos.Aber das Essen ist sehr gut. Große, frische und preiswerte Portionen.Geschmacklich einwandfrei, wie man es von einem Asiaten gewohnt ist."
