"At today's visit to Mylady I was told that a table was reserved in a cozy ambience and I should be surprised. And at noon I followed the lady of my heart through the old town of Bad Camberg and then sometime before the old town cellar. At the entrance a few steps down and we were in the guest room where we were kindly received by a young lady and led to the table. A happy woman had reserved because the two guests who came after us had to leave again, as there was no room left. The guest room has the floor plan of a large L, our and another table for four people was in a corner of the smaller part of the L. The larger part of the L offers approx. 30 people. The lighting was discreet so that the ambience with the curved ceiling came to fruit. The menus we presented were quickly examined, there are only when I remember five appetizers and about 8 10 main dishes. Madame chose the fish plate with rice, broccoli and salad 13,90, I had the feeling of Rumpsteak medium rarely ordered with herbal butter, roast potatoes and broccoli 16,90. After rinsing with coke 0.3l 2 and alkaline wheat from Krombacher 0.5l 3.20. The young lady took everything up, thanked herself politely and disappeared towards the kitchen. Two minutes later, a woman who was a bit more stagnant came to the table and asked quite burschikos in Camberger Mundart: Habder schunn bschdelld? For not Hesse, have you ordered? But it was less the question that surprised me than the sight of the person she asked, more precisely her outfit. It doesn't matter to me if someone but in service still helps in the kitchen. But then you should take the Kittel Apron in the kitchen with big fat stains before they come to guests because that doesn't happen! When we asked the question, she retreated from there to serve other guests the food, of course still in the sloppy apron. The drinks were brought to our table by the younger service, and the additional salad of Madam's fish plate followed briefly. Since you were not after salad, slight stomach problems came too well. Good luck, because after the last two flop salads it was really delicious. Only the delicious yogurt dressing from the leaf salad was a bit too much for my terms, field salad, cucumber salad, herbalate and carrot salad were fresh and well lubricated. Besides, I got a steak knife, commendable! Despite the fact that the restaurant was well visited, we did not have to wait too long for the main course. On the fish plate, two zander fillets and a lactose were arranged on the rice bed, surrounded by a very tasty, bright sauce. The sauce was made itself, in contrast to the sauce Hollandaise, which was distributed on the breadccoli bissfest garden. I don't think it's too hard, but the old stadium cellar isn't a star-gourmet temple. Both species of fish were boiled to the point, inside still slightly glazed as it belongs. In addition, some slices of fresh mushrooms, which were briefly thrown into butter, were added between the fish pieces. My Rumpsteak came with an estimated 250 grams and was from the cooktop as I wanted it to be a point landing! In addition, the meat was of a quality and I had not expected it. It also had so much rest that the meat juice could spread out again and did not run perfectly on the plate! The roast potatoes were tasty, but some roasted flavors could have tolerated more, a few onion cubes would not have been wrong, minimal reduction. The broccoli roasts were as already mentioned, I would not need the Hollandaise. When I left the restaurant, I could take a look into the kitchen, and then I was a bit amazed. At about 12m2! there was a more than solid performance here, except the cook only wore a kitchen help, and it did not even look particularly chaotic in this mini kitchen, hat off! Conclusion: The surprise of Mylady was successful, the ambience has matched, the food has tasted very well, above average quality at fair prices. So I come to the following review: Service: friendly and accommodating 4* Ambience: cozy 4* Cleanliness: actually perfect, only the apron with fat stains prevents more than 3* food: better than expected 4* PLV: delicious food at fair prices 4* After a kitchen trip: 4 again!"
