The cake and gravy were truly delicious, but the magic was a bit disappointing—it was rather dry. Maybe another one would be better. Still, I highly recommend trying the torte with gravy! Voir le carte

St James Of Bermondsey is a fantastic pub. A friend of mine lives nearby, and when we were looking for a spot to have a drink and discuss business on a Friday evening, this was the only place that met all our criteria: no loud music, a great variety of beers, and a garden with outdoor seating. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed our visit—5 out of 5 all around for Food, Service, and Atmosphere.

St James of Bermondsey is an absolute gem! I instantly felt at welcomed thanks to the amazing staff — they really go above and beyond to make everyone feel looked after. The vibe is spot-on, with great background music that sets the perfect tone without overpowering conversation. They’ve got a fantastic selection of drinks too, with something for everyone — whether you’re after a classic pint, a cocktail, or something new to try. I especially love the little extras that make this place stand out — the Thursday night quiz is always a fun time, and they really know how to throw a party for special occasions.
