"I've been here twice - once when it just opened and the other day. When it opened it was very charming and simple - just coffee and some juices. The staff were the owners, a young German couple (with great English!), who were very friendly and inviting, and more than happy to tell us about the cafe and the coffee. The flat white and americano were just right, smooth, tasty with a punch, but no bitterness, just great coffee flavour. On my second visit, the coffee was just as good, if not better, and they now have delicious baked goods and lunch stuff, including the best croissant I've had in Berlin. They make and bottle their own healthy juices right in the cafe, which looked great. They also have beautiful cabinet displays of jewellery and ceramics made by local designers for sale, and a great range of art & coffee magazines to read or buy. They also have board games that you can play there or rent! The decor is lovely and calming, simple enough but with an individual touch, which makes a nice change from the usual grey paint and exposed brick (and not much else) of so many speciality coffee places. The staff are lovely and chatty (German and English), yet I still felt comfortable enough to sit on my own and read for a while. They also have outside seating. The prices are VERY reasonable, I paid €4 for a flat white and a croissant, which I thought was amazing for the quality of both. All in all, faultless in my opinion. A great and much-needed addition to Moabit!"

they cannot go wrong with spontaneous coffee absolutely delicious and creamy. friendly staff, vegan cake (banan bread and lemon cake.) but no sandwiches.

It is one of the best alternative coffe places i have found in berlin yet. And difinitely the best coffee in the area. I like it, and definitely recommend. Also, it seems, that you can work from there

Great service. They carry Barn beans which are quite good, but not quite the best. They know how to brew. The shop is undergoing renovations; so, is not quite what it will be. The pastries are average.

Visiting Berlin from the States and Spontan has been our favorite coffee shop. Beautiful espresso, coffee, and craft beverages, as well as tasty cakes and sandwiches. Baristas are all friendly and stylish. Music playing has been 100, great ambiance. Would definitely recommend and return to Voir le carte

Easy to miss this place, with a size accommodating no more than ten people, and fairly minimal decor both inside and out. There are a couple of tables and chairs inside, and some seating outside. More of a takeaway place, but the quality of the coffee is what kept me coming back. Delicious flat whites and friendly staff. No fuss. There's a loyalty scheme too, but sadly, I am not a local. A pity, as if I was, I would drink there every day.

I was just walking by when I looked up... the quaint little coffee shop just looked very inviting. Not much seating inside, but a nice little place to get a coffee on the go. Definitely more personal than the normal, larger coffee chains around. Something different. Make me think back of a few really cool spots in Cape Town, South Africa.Coffee is really good: had a Flat White, and found it to be one of the better coffees I had in the past week while in Berlin.
