Spean Bridge Woollen Mill

The Spean Bridge cafe is perfectly OK, nowt special but quite reasonable for a brief coffee or snack break

Great place to stop for food and refreshments. Free parking at the rear with a Spar and Pharmacy also located on-site.

we stopped here on a highland tour. it was a beautiful place with a load. Eating was decent, but not too impressive. but the coffee was great! Voir le carte

Lovely cosy cottage with everything you could need for an away from home break. Hosts Pat and George are on hand nearby if required. Excellent walks from the doorstop.

Considering this is a tourist stop Spean bridge mill is an absolute disgrace! Rude staff food awful! When we asked if we could have the bacon more crispy we where told a very blunt no!! If this is the best they can do they should not be working In Hospitality! Being Scottish I am Embarrassed .

fantastic place to stop! the personal is super friendly in the business of ross is a wee managers! great selection of products in the shop from Tartan-Cashmere to gifts and novelties, including a whisky shop. they have a nice café eating is always on place. bonnie wee place with beautiful sitting area outside between the shop and the toilets with ample parking Voir le carte

Popped in for a spot if lunch, wish I hadn't bothered, baked potato, cheese and coleslaw, terrible, didn't eat it, potato was lukewarm and dried out, coleslaw was the cheapest on the market, coffee was warm, served with a smile, personally if I was serving **** like that to the public, I would be hiding behind a paper bag. Would not recommend this place at all.......

An unexpected gem. Very good coffee. Friendly staff. An astonishing array of goods and souvenirs. The business was cratered by Covid but has been revived. It deserves recognition as a destination in its own right. The cafe area was obviously set up (originally? to cater for bus loads of visitors but we had it pretty much to ourselves. The coffee was excellent. We did not have any food, so cannot comment. The shop element is enormous. It has a huge range of clothing from “normal everyday” to dress up Scottish kilts and the accoutrements. there are times when I am ashamed to be mischievous, and today one of them was. we in Scotland rely heavily on the arrival of tourism, and the edinburgh woollen company is one of the most important tourist shops in Scotland with many outlets throughout the country. yet it offers the most appalling toilets for its customers on the erdbrücke. there are limited places to stop the busloads of (mostly foreign) tourist and a break in this area of highland. these beautiful people who have undoubtedly spent a fortune coming here and looking forward to seeing the best of our country should be able to stretch their legs, a view of a pleasant load, they enjoy a beautiful coffee in a pleasant environmen...
