I had a pleasant meal, but the grilled chicken was slightly overcooked. However, the black beans were excellent.

Over rated and over priced. Absolutely no ambience poor service food quality awful. Supposed to be a birthday treat was a birthday nightmare

For a restaurant that specialises in steak, I was surprised when my sirloin turned up medium to well, when I asked for medium rare and was quite tough. The steak knives also felt blunt. Amazing space but basics let SOS down. Voir le carte

I went here the week before and have a great meal. Service was great, food was amazing so decided to go back with a couple of friends the week after. It was like a different place. Service was really slow and the food was poor.

They are not quite Hawksmoore but they do offer a straightforward no non-sense menu, including a good choice of sides/starters/puddings. I went with my friend and tried their larger 28-day aged cuts (Scottish beef) and we really enjoyed the steak.

Great steak, although quite expensive for a restaurant in the heart of the meat market but they did offer a lunch special which also had a steak option for £22.50 for 2 courses. A lack of diners in the room meant that the waiting staff were overly attentive. It was irritating for me and my guest as we kept getting interrupted. In the end we had to ask to be left alone...even that wasn’t enough! The food was not memorable. Portion sizes were adequate not generous. Overall ambience was ok as the sounds from a private party downstairs drifted around the grill room.

I visited for lunch and made a reservation, but this time we booked for Friday night. Unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. While the service was generally good, we had to wait a long time for our main courses, and a few items we ordered never arrived at the table. The croquettes as a starter were excellent, and the steak was decent, but it wasn't nearly as good as what I've experienced in my previous visits.

When the food finally arrived, the chicken dishes were ice cold, but we didn’t have time to complain about it. The pork dish came out much later than everyone else's meals, and when my colleague cut into it, the meat was raw. We raised our concerns once again. While they did remove the pork from our bill and waived the service charge, as well as providing a discount, it didn’t change the fact that my colleague ended up without lunch, leaving us both feeling that the entire meal was ruined.
