another great meal in shad indian. if they like curry, they can't think of a better place in the london bridge area

excellent food and solid service. only negatiw was that we sat on the back of the restaurant and there was a strong smell of drains that would be sprinkle back, but please a table at the front!

the personal is very accommodating, eating is of high quality, great variety on the menu and fair value for money. in addition, they are sensitive to noise levels that make their eating experience very pleasant

The Garlic Chili Lamb is the spiciest and most delicious Indian dish I have ever tried. The heat level was no joke, but it was also incredibly tasty. The restaurant is elegant, the staff is courteous, and the manager is delightful. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent good quality meals. Good staff and approachable owner. Excellent for birthdays, which I have gone to twice just tell the owner. Also good for lunch, food after drinks especially the weekends. Also good for celebrity watching. Get a loyal and interesting set of characters coming in and out of the joint. Go there now and enjoy

Located next to The Shard, we were pleasantly surprised to discover this charming Indian restaurant! While we tried a variety of dishes, the King Prawn was outstanding and the Chicken was incredibly tender. We highly recommend it! The food was excellent and some might even say that the peaceful atmosphere of the restaurant enhanced the flavors.

decided to try this as an alternative to the fabulous but slightly expensive tower tandoori, the meal was reasonable, but nothing spectacular to complain except the nan brot, that was thin and soggy. it’s not a bad little Indian and it’s tooley st I’m sure it’s good to trade, but it wasn’t good enough to pull us back to go “off slopes” here again.

Ambience : 5 star Location: 5 star Food Taste: 4 star Facilities : 1 star Staff Behaviour : 1 star If you have elderly please avoid going there as they don’t have step free access for washroom. Not even for hand wash. Very rude behaviour of staffs. Rule : If you are 4 persons including kids, you have to order 4 main courses minimum even if you can eat or not to order a side dish. I don’t think star ratings will affect them anyway as they are the only one near to London Tower bridge. But I hope the management can take proper action for these behaviour and facilities.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience and fantastic meal at Shad Indian!! It was hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST Indian food I have ever tasted!! Every course was superb! Our appetizers, Samosa and Onion Bhaji, were the best we’ve ever had. My main entree, Chicken Jalfrezi (they allowed me to substitute lamb), was amazing and so tasty! Nice and spicy, just like I like! The service was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. It was a lovely meal I will not forget! I highly recommend Shad Indian for a truly fantastic meal you will definitely enjoy!!
