Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Very unique. The food was nice. Some dishes were great, others I was less keen on. However, hospitality and ambience was great : I would recommend as a unique experience.

Had a really lovely evening at Luisa’s flat enjoying the wonderful Sardinian tasting menu. It was a relaxed and interesting experience tasting the different fish dishes and dessert. Each one was very flavoursome and different and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Luisa was very welcoming and explained about each of the dishes and where they came from in Sardinia.

A unique private dining experience held in the chef’s own home! The 8-course tasting menu skillfully combines Sardinian flavors with Scottish twists. The cozy atmosphere, with just three tables, creates an intimate vibe. The dishes are outstanding, and the service is attentive throughout. Excellent value for such high quality. Dining at Scotland Meets Sardinia Supper Club is great value, with generous portions that exceed what you’d usually expect at this level. Each dish improved on the last, which was impressive since they were outstanding from the beginning. While you can bring your own wine, we chose Luisa’s recommendation, a Sardinian Vermentino, which complemented all the seafood dishes beautifully.

Luisa is a magician! Everything was incredible, from the first canapés (sun dried tomato pesto and a pepper with tuna) to the dessert (Mille feuille custard, but before that, an incredible ice cream with whiskey). The way she used Scottish ingredients, but in a Sardinian style, was honestly amazing. Most tasting menus have tiny portions — not this one! By course 6, I was wondering if I’d need to loosen my jeans because I was stuffed. I’d highly recommend everyone visiting Edinburgh to visit Luisa! Price per person: £50–60

This was our first visit to Scotland meets Sardinia and we were not disappointed, I was a bit wary about the restaurant being in someone’s home, but I needn’t have been concerned. We were treated to a fabulous meal and a warm welcome. Luisa explained all the dishes and tailored the food around our likes and dislikes, the quality of the products and their presentation was better than those we’ve had at much larger places.
