This is one of the few places where you can experience the real Georgian cuisine! The food was very tasty and impressively rich in flavours. The prices are really decent especially considering the high quality of the ingredients. A very special place and definitely a must go!

If you like Georgian cuisine please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Food is definitely mediocre, overpriced and simply plain. As it was said in many reviews before, the owner (manger?) of the restaurant behaves like she is doing you a favor and she doesn't mind you getting out of their place as fast as possible. Overall, the only plus of the place is the location.

La nourriture est délicieuse, mais trop cher. L'opération est faible. Nous avons dû attendre des minutes jusqu'à ce que quelqu'un serve notre table. Ensuite, ont discuté avec le serveur qu'il revient en quelques minutes, car une personne manquait à notre table et que le serveur voulait dire, nous devrions le mieux commander ensemble, sinon cela prend beaucoup de temps avec la préparation. My visit here was uniquely bad. I was excited to try this place as I love Georgian food so I went along with my wife. Before I even got the chance to order from the menu the owner and manager (an old woman) yelled at me for allegedly splashing water on the sink in the bathroom! I was staggered and had to ask her to repeat as I couldn't believe anyone in the restaurant business could be so ignorant. She very aggressively remonstrated with me and at this point I said 'I've had enough', at which point we left. I was absolutely disgusted. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague.

I had no knowledge of Georgian cuisine and was given a generous and enjoyable tour by the matriarch and owner of this wonderful authentic restaurant.We had the feast- with flavours of walnut pesto, Georgian spices, wines, eggplant, tomatoes and chilli. Think far eastern Europe- robust, flavoursome, and true to the ingredients.I loved "grandmothers" eggplant pickle- similar to a north indian brinjal.The meats were marinated- a fantastic broiled whole chicken marinated in white wine, olive oil and spices and cooked to perfection, pork ribs and Georgian meat balls.They also stock authentic Georgian wine- fermented in traditional open top clay pots- the original type of wine making and well wort...

We discovered this wonderful place by coincidence. Berlin friends had recommended us an other restaurant nearby, but they were hosting a corporate Holiday party. When I asked the chef what other place he could recommend he pointed us to Schwiliko, "it's different" he added. Well different it was! None of us ever had Georgian food and for some reasons we all expected a good hearty meal, nothing subtle but some nice comfort food. Well, we were wrong. The owner of this wonderful authentic restaurant completely took over as we started ordering our food.
