We had a staff holiday luncheon here (selected by German colleagues) and the setting and food could not have been more delightful. The fact that the restaurant is a bit off the beaten path made it that much more enjoyable. The service was friendly and...welcoming and I look forward to going back to dine in the farden terrace.

Beautiful 'beergarden ', brick walls and nice rooms. They serve very good biological local food, Frankfurt cider next to local wine and beers. Service is very professional, friendly and fast. You need to expect a low number of tourists but majority of the guests are obviously...locals. You need to take the cider , half a liter, and Applebratwurst!

The atmosphere in this restaurant is very special. A very traditional Frankfurt Restaurant. The food is very traditional and taste fantastic. The Service is very efficient and friendly. This is a place worth visiting. The surroundings is also very interesting for Tourist. This was the...2nd time we visited this Restaurant and again very satisfied with the food and the Service. Lovely place, delicious food traditional drinks … we went for an early dinner reserved the table about 3 days ahead. As the weather turned colder it was a good decision as the place was busy. Went for some Apfelwein starters with handkäse to share... good choice! For mains everyone went for ‘normal’ portions instead of the degustation one mistake the food was delicious and still the portions huge. Burger, spare ribs and the Frankfurter Schnitzel were the mains choices Friendly service, an all in all superb experience and we will be back.

beautiful place, delicious food traditional drinks. we went for an early dinner reserved the table about 3 days ago. when the weather became colder, it was a good decision because the place was busy. for some apple wine starters to share with hand cheese. good choice! for the net went each for “normal” portions instead of the devastation a mistake was the eating delicious and still the portions huge. burgers, reserve ribs and the frankfurter carving were the most important choices friendly service, one all in all excellent experiences and we will be back.

Praunheim is a suburb of Frankfurt. The restaurant is in the old part of the town and judging by how busy it was I would say booking was essential. They have a large outdoor area and specialise in typical Hessen specialities like handkäse (a homemade...cheese), green sauce and apfelwein. We were a party of 5 and all the food ordered was hearty and delicious. I didn't try the cheese speciality but my beef and mashed potatoes were well presented and tasted great. Service was efficient despite the outdoor area filling up quickly after we arrived. I would recommend a visit here for a typical taste of Frankfurt. Voir le carte

GLUTEN-FREE options! very unique restaurant! I love local food and try the specificities of the opposite and this restaurant is perfect for it! this is a restaurant in generational operation and although our server was not part of the family, he could lead me through my...choices so that I could taste a unique hessian dinner. I asked a menu choice to be made gluten-free and he took the time to find out that was not really possible (what I guess! I don't want my vacation to be ruined.
