"These people ruined my birthday celebration. Having booked a table for 12 in the recently renovated side room for my birthday celebration and confirming it a week ahead of the day (16th Nov) and discussing the layout and table decor, we turned up to find we had been moved to main hall with a shoddy set up along one wall in a corner. It seems that was changed during the week and they did not feel it necessary to inform us despite them having my phone number. This was exactly what I had wanted to avoid, but nothing could be done, the management offered a glass of champagne for each guest as they arrived as compensation, but the damage was done. Admittedly the food and service was excellent, but it was absolute bedlam and conversation was impossible due to the noise level which did not help my tinnitus at all. Later in the evening the standard of clientele lowered to the local thugs getting drunk on the cheap beer and at the end of the evening I was reduced to tears having to apologize to everybody for the disaster. NEVER AGAIN!!!"

Best resturant in Schwetzingen! Great beer garden in the summer which is always packed. Their portions are huge and you get a starter salad. Prices are great! Favorite dish is their salads!

We spent the day visiting sights in the area with our German cousins, and this is the place they chose for dinner. We ate casually - just some beer and sandwiches. A typical place - nice outdoor eating area. If ever in the area again and offered the opportunity to eat here, I would definitely go. Voir le carte

During the Christmas market in Schwetzingen all other restaurants were full on a Saturday night, so we were happy to get the last available table. Friendly service, good local beer and large parts of local specialties. From what we saw outside, the beer garden must be great in summer, but we were here mid-December!

My whole family loves eating in this restaurant they serve good local cuisine, the menu has something for all even vegetarians even the guests we took there love the food. Prices are medium, so you can take the family. The staff is friendly. Portions are quite large, so we always share a meal, they are nice enough to bring another dish so we can do it. Example of the Schweitzer schnitzel, portion is so great that we always share it, but man is delicious.
