"the restaurant was, in my opinion, badly illuminated, and since there was still a table of diners, it was lacking in the atmosphere. service was good and the food was well presented and delicious, I had the venison that was pleasant. my wife had the meat, but the rump portions were chewing and had gristle through, so not so good. the pud was good, crispy, but the portions were tiny in small stoneware pots and I did not consider this worth for money. what was irritated, was charged extra for new kartoffels to accompany the venison, maybe I misunderstood the court and it didn't need to pot! not a great experience, sad as the records on travel advisors we are very good, but it just didn't do for us."

Delicious food and good sized portions. The Sazerac was undergoing some reconstruction but this didn’t impact the quality of the food. We had a lovely time.

wow! what a fab dinner on Saturday night. we live in stratford on avon and I wish we had a restaurant that offers food of this originality and quality. stunning cocktails and the attentive service were also top notch. thanks for a great evening.

it describes in a grunde! beautiful eating, wonderfully presented, from an amazingly good value set menu with many choices. do not weep exorbitant and some delicious pudding wines through the glass. only the best meal I had in a British restaurant for simple age. great service also, beautiful waitress. the best place in bude, that's safe! we went to the jubilee dinner and the experience was wonderful. I am milk unbearable, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful when it comes to alternatives. eating was amazing! it was very quiet to be a Tuesday night on the end of October, but I would imagine that even if it were more busy, the service and the atmosphere would be great.

Good selection of drinks and good varied menu with a set menu available. A bit expensive but very good food extremely well presented and a bit special. Staff very attentive but not intrusive. The only criticism I could make would be that there is not much atmosphere but we did dine early and people were just coming in as we were leaving. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be returning. A little gem.
