San Telmo - Carte

Well, they found, walking around Bonn, coming to dinner and not disappointed, a very quiet place, but they don't give up, one word, snacks like that, but the paella was a great, decent wine, and I'll be in the banana, thank you, for tonight!

we are there many years of regulars and have eaten temporarily weekly in the san telmo. though now freshly renovated and with the kitchen below, yesterday the dorade was fried, i.e. dry. my chicken in garlic was good. the service seemed to be missing the routine.

the food itself was tasty and filled my expectations fully. not so the service. it just took forever until the drinks were there. the food was tasty just what i expected. the service not so much. it took forever until we got our drinks. we had to ask three times for our food and it still took forever. never again. a female service is very unfriendly. not recommended for larger solemnities. we gave to the restaurant a beseren conversion, a table reserved by us. for this, the host had to pay at the end, among others, 6 dishes (over 100 euro on) which none of their guests had ordered or eaten. legally she wouldn't have to.Very bad, as the restaurant is nicely situated.

This was very local to our hotel in Altstadt and we were lucky to arrive at opening as we hadn't booked. It got quite full later and it's no wonder! The food was delicious and even the house wine (dry white ) was lovely.I has a lovely beef stew and my son had some sort of pork dish. Staff were lovely and didn't rush us to finish although it got quite busy. Mid range priced but really worth it. Restaurant itself had a very cosy atmosphere.

our 2nd visit in san telmo and again we were completely satisfied. the tapas selection is super and besides classmates like datteln in the speckmantel there are also more unusual tapas on the menu. the foods are consistently tasty and inexpensively appropriate. the ambiente is cozy, locally not too large and not too small. service very friendly and attentive. the homemade sangria was particularly delicious. we like to come back to san telmo. The waiters there were really nice and very fast , but the highlight of this restaurant is the food. We ordered some Tapas, for example Albondigas, pattatas pravas and many more, and they were all delicious. I was really surprised with the paella that they served us. It tasted as good, maybe better than the ones I've eaten in Spain. All in all if you want to eat at a spanish place, this is my only suggestion compared to the other ones in Bonn.

we were there for a dinner in the august. because it didn't look like rain, but outside all the tables were covered, we quickly got a table outside. you sit on the way in the middle of the quarter. that has a beautiful charm.The brot to the aioli was a little slap - maybe because the humidity was so high. we had different tapas, mostly neat. the portions were ok and we didn't have to wait long. it was fair from the praising.Not so great was the chicken with honey that tasted like in the teig-fried chicken parts and was quite dry.

I have been recommended to the restaurant at the beginning of 2015 and since then I have always been happy to visit my friends, family or alone. the ambiente is rustic, plants and candles make it very cozy. Peruvian musicians bring you the feeling of vacation and also in summer it is very cozy out there. the service fixed and friendly, small personal changes at the meals are also made without a charge. the prices are lower than with other Spanish in bonn, which still eat delicious. always like to come to san telmo, is simply a great local! recommended!
