"I came here for a wake. I didn't stay in the hotel, just food drink. Large open area just sectioned off from the bar area with a wall of settees so confidential enough for the wake but not closed in. Huge windows. Lots of them. Really high ceilings but the sound didn't echo so could hear people talk. I had the vegan walnut mushroom steak. I wasn't sure what to expect but I love it when I can try new dishes based on proper ingredients rather than eat fake/pretend meat or just salad and falafel (I really love falafel but not every time I eat out! . It was really tasty. Kinda similar to a nut roast. I really enjoyed it. The staff were extremely efficient and accommodating Lovely views"

We chose here to meet some of my family who had travelled from Middlesbrough for a family wedding at the weekend. First time we had been since the refurb. Very nice staff excellent food very good. Shall visit again.

Friendly staff, always nice and helpful!! Good continental breakfast and even full English breakfast The rooms are good, shower is exquisitely hot and nice! Loved the view in the early mornings and Ramsgate is a lovely place

Only had soup and roll on Sunday but it was delicious. The continental breakfast had everything you would ever need. Fruit, yogurt, cereal, ham, cheese, toast, crumpets, croissants and mini pastries also fruit juice and tea and coffee.

Revamped March 2023 makes the bar a fine performance place for musicians. The current main photo of this hotel is somewhat misleading being a reflection in a large puddle. The hotel has a fine promenade in front of it which is located along the top of East Cliff.

Went for lunch in restaurant and drinks in garden afterwards. Food lovely and good portions. Nice decor and reasonably priced. The staff, whilst very pleasant, were not really attentive and we were waiting a while trying to order and then pay. Lovely location. Free parking on side streets around if couldn't fit in carpark.

poor customer service in the telephone, called the hotel to enquiry about services and been questioned why was I asking the hotel services knowing the lady I have just reserved with her 1 hour earlier and after confirming to her my booking reservation details. Called to cancel next day given my name and date of reservation but been told to wait, waited 5 minutes on the line until someone else answered and asked what am I calling for ? Bad experience do not recommend
