"I had the best fish and chips here I’ve ever had in my entire life. The fish itself was fresh, flaky, and perfectly juicy, and the batter was light, airy, and despite me covering it in lemon and vinegar, managed to remain completely crispy throughout the course of eating it. The triple cooked chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the fresh tartar sauce was also extremely high quality. The entire meal fantastic. 9.5 for the fish and chips, I’m not sure what you can actually do to better such a perfectly simple plate of food.One little touch I loved seeing was the chef came out onto the floor and spent a solid ten minutes talking to a couple about the food taking extra time to entertain their six year old, too. Really nice!Service was great, and the overall ambience of the dining area was lovely we also had drinks in the area where you wait before you are seated, and that in and of itself could be considered as a separate experience very nice chairs, views out of the window, and just a nice overall calmness.If I had to make one criticism, it’s that the food comes out perhaps a little too fast, and the service seemed to drop off rapidly after the main was brought out, but it’s barely enough to even bother mentioning.Oh actually, one other criticism is that they need to update the menus some things weren’t available and were no longer made easily fixed!Overall, a solid 9/10 eating experience. Beautiful food and exceptionally well priced."
