Went back here for a repeat visit now the guys are in full swing and i really liked itService is great and my food was cracking.

This is a fantastic Thai/Malay-style café. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful while respecting our conversation. The Pad Thai was fresh and fragrant, and the shiny bark soup was exceptionally flavorful yet clean and crisp. The high chairs were lovely, and there was ample space for strollers. I absolutely love it here and will definitely return.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, so I decided to give it a try instead of going back to the city to deal with the Christmas office party crowd. Upon first glance, it appeared to be a cafe with a menu featuring a mix of Asian influences. However, I must say that I found it to be a bit confusing. I ordered the spring rolls and chicken pho, and while the ingredients were fresh, I felt that the flavors were not quite right.

My partner and I frequently visit Edinburgh and Saiko Kitchen has become a staple for us when dining in the capital. We have tried nearly everything on the menu and love it all. I have not found another place in Scotland that serves authentic Vietnamese bánh mì like they do (sometimes it even rivals what we have had in Vietnam). The iced coffee is also incredible! Saiko's kitchen has recently started staying open later. I'm not usually one to eat dinner out, but I decided to grab a bite after work. The atmosphere felt more like a café for dinner. The lack of a menu meant we had to read the options off the wall, which was frustrating since some of the items were covered by lamps. We had seen a product we wanted to try on a previous visit, but it had been sold out during a busy lunch. While I appreciate restaurants that minimize waste, I was a little annoyed that it wasn't available. However, the dim sum and fresh roll we ordered were quite good and tasted amazing. It's clear that the chefs at Saiko really know how to cook well.

A few weeks ago, I had a quick look and noticed one dish I was excited to try was sold out due to a busy lunch service. While I appreciate restaurants that focus on reducing food waste, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t available. However, what we did order—dim sum and a fresh roll—was quite good. The food tasted fantastic, and it was clear that the young staff really know how to prepare tasty dishes. Still, it felt evident that this is primarily a lunch spot. The lack of alcoholic beverages limited their drink selection, and without any substantial dinner options, the experience was somewhat underwhelming for an evening meal. I might return for lunch one day, but I’ll likely pass on...

A very affordable Japanese cafe in a quaint area of central Edinburgh. Service was excellent and there is a very relaxed atmosphere in the place with modern decor. I went in for lunch and I think it maybe is a better lunch place rather than a dinner restaurant but haven't been in at night so can't compare. The food was delicious and very thoughtfully prepared. I think there is a takeaway option as the waitress seemed to ask everyone that came through the door if they were sitting in as soon as they walked in the door, this got slightly annoying. There is a wide selection of Eastern Asia cuisine on offer and it all looked very appetising. Dessert selection was very disappointing though. Also... Voir le carte
