"I was looking for a typical restaurant in the area, I found this place and I went in, Monday is not easy to find open places. . Traditional Stübe, guest room and lounge for walkers. I order a soup and a vegetable dish thinking about the dinner that was waiting for me that night. First they bring me a salad, (unordered) that I refuse, then comes the soup and finally the vegetables, part boiled to the steam, part roasted and the fried eggplants to be afraid. I order a peat beer and bring me a clear one, order the bill and coffee and bring me the dessert I didn't order. It can happen, kind staff."

"on our bike tour on the five rivers cycle path, which leads directly through kallmünz, we have eaten here with a group of twelve people (table was reserved in advance. the dining room in a historic building is professionally renovated with exposed dark beams and small windows. the angled location is decorated with old black and white photos, an old pendulum clock and other historical objects, but this does not seem overloaded before location. the deko is stylish and tastefully selected with many beautiful angles. the tabs from earlier. In the Michael guide, which is at the exit, this is listed locally with a star. I liked the view into the kitchen where they come by and out. with nice weather they can sit in the courtyard in the open. the next door is an old schieune. probably that was a farm. in the house there are rooms in which a part of our group was accommodated."

"I visited this restaurant on 08/23/2023 It wasn't my first visit to this restaurant, but I was a little disappointed because I wanted rice with the fish crunchy instead of fries, but they didn't have rice on site and I didn't even get a tartar sauce with it and the plate didn't look so nice either ! "Restaurantbesuch 21.Jul. 3 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder. Wir sitzen auf der Terasse. Eine freundliche Bedienung fragt nach unseren Wünschen. Nein essen kann man gar nichts. Im Restaurant hat eine Gruppen von 100 Personen reserviert. Ein Sandwich liege eben noch drin für die Küche. Die Kinder sind hungrig wir bestellen 4 Sandwiches und 6 Getränke. Eine andere Bedienung kommt zackig und gestresst an den Tisch, entfernt die Tischsets. Ihre Aussage für Sandwiches brauchen wir keine Tischsets. 6 Flaschen Cola werden gereicht. Um Gläser müssen wir bitten.Die kleine Mahlzeit schlägt mit 65 Fr. zu Buche was uns reichlich dünkt. Ein unerfreulicher Besuch.Mein Vorschlag : hätte das Restaurant nicht für 2 Stunden geschlossen werden können? Das wäre ehrlicher gewesen. Auch andere Gäste beklagten sich."

"we were just thirsty and wanted to drink. because the inviting one has really liked us locally and the service was sympathetic and courteous we looked at the menu and wine. these were so interesting with old well-known Swiss and berner eating that we stayed until the kitchen opened. we didn't regret it. at the end it was not quite cheap, but where you get brandchnochä. the amuse bouche was a very fine celery soup. the hausapéro with berries in it was fresh and naughty. the white and green asparagus with choptyschli also very fine. for the crowning conclusion a real merängge - with the right stickiness inside. the whole team seems very young and ambitious. the chef then greeted all the guests and took some time to change with the guests, so we have learned more about the younger history of the bear and today's operators. really great berner hospitable. a restaurant where we will surely go back."
