Disappointed really very reduced service /offerings. Not very clearly signposted to outside activities. Looks like it's already been shut down for the season. Ice cream varieties were limited and not as I remembered having elsewhere. A shame as we were looking forward to our first visit to this site although we regularly visit Cornwall. We traveled five hours for our Cornish adventure, and on day one, we booked a roast at Roskilly's. I went for the meat option, which came with both beef and pork, while our friend had the nut roast. Honestly, mine was spot-on – the meat was tender, and the gravy was rich and full of flavor. I paired it with a smooth merlot, which was a cracking choice. The gravy was so good, we couldn’t resist drinking it straight from the jug – no regrets there! The place itself is beautiful, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. After a stunning Christmas Eve walk along Gunwalloe beach, detour to My favourite place, Roskilly for ice cream. Even though it was raining the outdoor eating area was sheltered and it is just a very pleasant environment to be in. As always really clean and welcoming, and I can’t stress how delicious the ice cream is, but on previous visits we have had the pizza which was a great success with our family! Parking: Approx. 25-30 spaces, no issues getting parked up. Kid-friendliness: Lovely relaxed, family friendly atmosphere! Highly recommended. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair, but large all terrain pushchair, no issues getting around, so hopefully wheelchair users as well wouldn’t be...

Sunday indulgence has hit a new level. My husband has been raving about their roast for ages, and I finally got to experience it, and WOW, he wasn’t exaggerating. The puffed pork crackling was an irresistible, salty prelude to a main event bursting with flavour. The pork was perfectly succulent, the beef melted in the mouth, and every element from the rich, sweet gravy to the expertly prepared veggies was sheer perfection. And dessert? A rich Apple and Cinnamon Tarte Tatin paired with creamy Roskillys vanilla ice cream and a crunchy, nutty hazelnut biscuit brittle. The perfect finale to an unforgettable lunch.
