"We were welcomed with delectable bread and dips, setting the tone for the meal. The Parmah ham tigelle was a standout, reminiscent of the best ham and cheese sandwich. The crispy socca was akin to solid, torn crepe, and the roasted panisse were like chickpea fritters that resembled chips. The buffalo mozzarella salad was above average, although the addition of sardines would have enhanced the dish. The octopus and sweet potato salad was a well-executed interpretation of a common dish, while the wild mushroom and ricotta ravioli burst with mushroom flavor. The Trofie pasta with genovese pesto was simple yet well-executed. The artichoke risotto was sufficiently cooked, with a strong artichoke flavor, although the combination with Parmesan was a bit peculiar. The sage parmesan gnocchi was slightly gummy and lacked depth in flavor. The Riviera-style John Dory was well-cooked but could have benefited from more seasoning. The veal fillet with asparagus was a basic yet well-prepared dish, with a flavorful reduction and perfectly cooked meat. The Gianduja palet dessert was dense and balanced in sweetness, bitterness, and nuttiness, with stellar ice cream. The service at Rivea is of Michelin quality, and the overall dining experience exceeded expectations. It was a very good, reasonably priced meal."

Food is served on small plates like tapas size with the waiter suggesting ordering between four to five dishes each.

During the summer holidays, my partner and I took advantage of a date night while our children stayed with their grandparents. We were grateful that my partner's parents were able to watch our kids, and we couldn't ask for anything better. We dined at a restaurant located in the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge.

first, it is incredibly valuable. but I think I had the wrong expectations. as I was at alain ducasse at the dorchester, I expected to eat similar things here, which is not about what rivea london is about. it's about basics and tastes. I had expected an extravagance, although it was still fantastic. the highlight for me was the macroni au gratin and the dips and brotsticks Voir le carte

When I first heard that alain ducasse opened a rivea in london, in the bulgari hotel, I was quite excited to say the least. henry and I tested it in the week that it opened, and it was not disappointed. the food was exceptional and the service excellent. I have worshipped every dish I had, and the gnocchi was probably the best thing I ever tasted, it's just a scandal about the rather strange outfits of the waiting staff.

February 5, 2015 Annie and I headed to the swanky Rivea last night. When I saw an offer – 4 courses glass of wine for £35 – from Bookatable at this Alain Ducasse restaurant in London’s Knightsbridge, I immediately suggested to Annie we went....The plates are inspired by the vibrant colours and flavours of the French and Italian Riviera. Our little pots were a great beginning; a kind of ‘artist’s palate’ as if trying to bring the colours of Dufy, Picasso and Matisse to our table.

On the momentous occasion of her birthday, a mother daughter lunch was in order and after checking out menus I booked London House. However, on the day we were thwarted by transport strikes and a last minute change saw us at Rivea in the Bulgari Hotel. The Bulgari hotel is as sleek and stylish as it's namesake brand, and I loved the long metal bar located on the ground floor of the hotel. From here we descended into the rather cavernous depths of the hotel's main restaurant. The restaurant was beautifully designed and the curved lines and blue carpet gave it a rather nautical feel. The only problem was that because the room was so big, fairly empty and accented with blues and...read more Voir le carte

A basement dining room may not sound like the likely place to conjure up the sunny, chic South of France, but the chef with a constellation of stars (as the French like to say) has managed to do exactly that at the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge. Alain Ducasse has brought the flavours of the French and Italian Riviera to his latest London restaurant; Rivea. The chef also has a starred restaurant of the same name in St. Tropez, although you get the feeling that he isn’t trying to achieve the same thing. The food here is typically Ducasse, but in a more accessible style. Everything is about the produce being the best possible. The ripeness of the fruit, the depth of taste in the...read more

Rivea, a restaurant located in the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, offers Italian small plates with a French influence in an elegant and sophisticated setting. The dining room is spacious with ample room between tables. Background music adds to the ambiance without being too loud. The staff is attentive and ensures a high level of service, from keeping water glasses filled to refilling bread baskets promptly. Attention to detail is evident in the presentation of each dish. We were welcomed with a selection of breads and dips to start our meal, which was a fun and delicious way to begin. I personally enjoyed the variety of flavors, especially the olive dip. Overall, a great dining experience...

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
