"Since we had to change the day of our visit to Bergamo, the original restaurant where we had planned to have lunch was closed, so we wandered a little further up the hill and discovered Campanella, and were very glad we did. Cordial greeting by a friendly woman who appeared to be a proprietor, and we opted for the Menu Degustatione, a four course tasting menu which was 30 euros per person including a glass of wine. Well we needed a whole bottle of the lovely vino rossa della casa so the lovely server gave us a nice bottle of acqua instead. The local Bergamo specialties were all well represented with Tagliatelle with fresh porcinis, and their Casoncelli alla Bergamasca, a stuffed pasta, typical of the city in a butter and sage sauce, which were both creatively served in their individual cooking pans. Next we sampled local sausages on polenta and a fantastic sliced beef on polenta, like the most tender pot-roast ever. Dessert was a lovely Vanilla Ice Cream Affogato with espresso poured over, so I think you can see we loved the entire experience sitting outside under the awning with the perfect view of the surrounding hills."

Abbiamo pranzato, mangiato bene. Personale gentile e cordiale. Un vicino di tavolo si é seduto, aveva un cane e gli hanno dato subito una ciotola di acqua. Bravi.

Tasty food. Reasonably priced. Visited 08 October 2019 ~19.00). We had a pizza margarita, penne carbonara, 2 beers: 32€ in total. The young lady serving us was smiling and well mannered.

Personale gentile ed efficiente. Menù fisso che prevede più varianti di primi e di secondi, oltre al caffè, vino e acqua. Primi e secondi molto buoni e casalinghi. Manuela e il marito a ferragosto sono stati contenti e lo consigliano e ringraziano la proprietaria che è stata molto attenta e premurosa.

Non mi trovo d'accordo con le recensioni date negative! Noi capitati per caso...ma ci siamo trovati molto bene! La Signora è la cameriera ci hanno accolti con garbo e assoluta gentilezza! Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, soprattutto i Casoncelli(ottimi) e il tagliere Salumi e formaggi! Noi lo consigliamo!

Dopo una bella passeggiata in città alta ieri sera ci siamo fermati in questo locale.Locale semplice ma con una bella vista su una delle tante belle piazze di Città Alta in Bergamo. Pizza veramente molto buona, con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, primo di risotto con zucchine e gamberi e scaloppina con funghi e polenta, tutto molto gustoso. Servizio buono e prezzi davvero accessibile per essere in città. Offrono anche un menù completo composto da primo,secondo con contorno,acqua,vino e caffè a 23 euro. Coperto solo 2 euro. Ne vale veramente la pena.
