We walked by for dinner, and what a great surpirse. High level service, freshly made home made italian food and dessert. Will repeat!!!!

Rude waiter, small portions, high prices. No "amazing" or "super..." at all. The only acceptable (standard Italian quality) was the espresso.

Had a businuss Dinner here last week. Local recommendation. Very good service. Starter and Main Dish very well done. Can recommend Loup de mer in salt crust. Good wine by the glass. Restaurant was fully booked.

The only reason to go to this place would be if there is nothing else open within a walking distance or reasonable taxi ride (if your budget allows that). It is very expensive taken into consideration the small size of the portions and the below...average quality of food. The service is not professional. Any restaurant packed to near capacity on a Tuesday night and with a clientele of mature loyalists must be doing something right.Service is theatrical, food varied and flavoursome. We shared mixed starters as recommended by Amici which helped with the choice and then had individual mains. Both fish and meat choices were consumed with equal passion. Biscotti with coffee a delight.

We nearly always end up here once when we visit Düsseldorf because it is so good. The whole Ambiente is somewhat old-fashioned, there is lots of wood panelling and the waiters aren’t the youngest which all adds to the charm of the place. For my...wife and I it is definitely one of our favourite Italian restaurants. On this visit, my wife and my sister in law both had veal chops which were outstanding; I had an osso buco, which was definitely one of the best I have had for a long time. Seafood risotto was also excellent. Wines by the glass were all good and not overpriced. Prices on the whole are reasonable for the quality provided. We’ll be back.

This is a great place, very Italian and the food was just perfect. We had a selection of mixed starters and they were all lovely. For mains I had the sea bass and it was just perfectly cooked. We all enjoyed our main courses and none of us had anything left on our plates. I'm afraid I couldn't manage dessert but they looked gorgeous. I don't drink but my colleagues ordered wine and they thought is was very good, so I believe they have a good selection of wines. The service is impeccable and the restaurant was full. I understand they only do one sitting here and that probably means they really focus on the food and that definitely comes through. I believe there's not much around this area and... Voir le carte
