Stumbled on the pub by accident and glad we did. Great selection of proper beers, and excellent hand made pizzas. Recommended!

Excellent Norwich pub, steeped in history with great selection of beers. Went in for an evening drink, staff very helpful, wonderful location.

I went to the "Ribs of Beef" in Norwich city centre for a pub lunch and was disappointed to find out they only serve pizza. It was quite a letdown after walking all that way. Voir le carte

we went expecting a good beef lunch well given the name, one would really. They should be charged under the trade description act if that even exists anymore). it only serves pizza. We didn’t stay.

Tin ribs, absolutely no sense of customer service or how to run a pub. Rude and bad mannered staff ‘it’s your last day so treat them as you like’. Bad service, really bad staff and management. Meat has gone bad, really bad

I enjoyed sitting outside by the river at this restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise as I didn't realize there was outdoor seating downstairs. My friend had some knee issues that I was not aware of from previous visits. We tried the pineapple cider on tap, which was both delicious and a unique option that I had not tried before. It was strong and refreshing.

My family and I came from overseas after attending the Lanes Fayre. We were told we couldn't sit on the jetty because we were a group of 8, even though we were all adults and were just looking to have a quick drink by the river. Despite settling on individual tables, we were then told we weren't welcome because of an empty cup from the fayre. After some of our group went to the bar, the remaining members were rudely told we weren't welcome and our friends would not be served. Only 2 out of 8 of us ended up getting served. When I went to discuss the situation at the bar, the staff were unhelpful and disrespectful. Our group felt embarrassed and our guests had a negative impression of the city...

With a superb location on the south side of the River Wensum and Fye Bridge we probably didn’t see this one at its best as our visit coincided with the prime after work drinking hours on a Friday evening when the place was rammed and packed to bursting and it was standing room only and somehow we kept getting in the way of staff trying to deliver food. It’s not the biggest of spaces, and especially not when the outdoor riverside seating and the advertised jetty are closed off, as they were for our visit for reasons the harassed food staff couldn’t completely explain to us. So not the most comfortable of our drinking experiences around Norwich on this day, but still a good one as far as the a... Voir le carte
