"Overall rating 3/5 for our experience at the end of Oct season. Food 3/5 We stopped by to try local food as recommended by friends so we ordered the Chalbsgschnatzlets Riesigi Buurebratwurst food was tasty but not good value. Service 3/5 When we arrived at the Restaurant, they didn't appear to have our booking on the system even though we had stopped by that afternoon to make a reservation. Regardless, they were able to provide us with a table. It appears to be common practice for Restaurants to charge CHF4 for tap water it should really be free like it is everywhere else in the world. However, kind of our waitress to let us know. Atmosphere 3/5 we ordered, ate left within 30mins (I made the mistake of requesting a table outside on the balcony in the evening... so we didn't stay for very long). Had it been during a warmer time of the year, I would have given this spot a 5/5."

they had only a vegan option, but much more vegeterian options. Nevertheless, eating was very good, and it is a nice location to eat, right at the lake.

Wir waren früher gerne im Pfister essen. Doch leider haben wir gemerkt, dass mittlerweile die Preise sehr hoch gestiegen sind und die fehlende Qualität zu wünschen übrig lässt. Das Essen ist grundsätzlich immer noch fein, aber war noch besser bei früheren Besuchen. Der Service wird auch immer umprofessioneller bezüglich Aufmerksamkeit schenken, Weinservice, ..).

1 star for good ambience and good venue. Another for the multilingual menu. However it lost out for: Staff that just doesn't smile and in general poor attitude. I had to ask for menu 2 times in order to get the full set of menu (food, drinks, wine in single glass) Food is pretty bad. Still had the cheek to ask if I wanted to tip. Would probably skip the cheese fondue here is you don't like smelly/strong flavors

Incredible meal we had with the fondue rosti sausages. This had the 2 of us stuffed, fondue is surprisingly hearty. Very near the river but we ate inside since it was quite rainy outside. Lunch time on a weekday and there was no queue. Excellent service as well, our waitress was really nice. Honestly I 'm not sure if the fondue was top-tier , but for normal tourists like us, it certainly was a great experience. <3
