Food was excellent but the service was poor. Despite being understaffed, service was still friendly and with a smile. Recommended this restaurant if you have plenty of time and patience.

La nourriture est délicieuse et l'endroit est magnifique. Le service est excellent et les prix sont raisonnables. Dans l'ensemble, un déjeuner du dimanche brillant. Je reviendrai certainement.

Service is very friendly and the restaurant is welcoming. The portions are not big but sufficient which is what you expect from a gastronomical restaurant. The plates are nicely presented and the food is exquisite. I definitely recommend this place

A nice and modern place at Granville harbour. Classic local sea food, fish and others. But the chef make sur his best to revisit and revive these classics in a pretty modern way; i.e., different from Grand-Mother, however very good and tasty. Friendly welcome and good advises re food selection and wine.

Visited at lunch time, had their 2 course menu. The starter: pressed crab with avocado and mango salsa on top was one of the best starters I have ever had. My main was red mullet, which I loved. My husband had a tuna, which was perfectly cooked. Staff efficient and friendly. Will visit again when next in Granville!

Nous voulions dîner dans ce restaurant depuis son ouverture et hier soir nous avons passé un très bon moment avec un accueil chaleureux du propriétaire, très sympathique et à l'écoute. Pour les plats, nous avons choisi une mozzarella et un plat de pâtes. La mozzarella était très bien assaisonnée et les pâtes étaient cuites al dente, en portions généreuses et très savoureuses. Le vin était également excellent et à un prix très raisonnable. Une très bonne soirée avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix. À refaire.

La plupart des critiques ne correspondent pas au restaurant actuel, probablement à la suite d'un changement de propriétaire. En bref, une expérience très agréable, avec un accueil chaleureux et un service correct. Les produits italiens sont très recherchés et de très bonne qualité. Les pâtes sont excellentes et en portions abondantes. Les vins sont abordables et disponibles en plusieurs formats, ce qui est très pratique pour les assortir à votre menu. Le saumon fumé était tout simplement parfait, tout comme la présentation de tous les plats. Je mettrais un petit bémol sur l'ambiance qui ne correspond pas à la cuisine proposée. Personne n'est italien ni ne parle italien et la musique n'apport...

We discovered this little restaurant by accident. A terrible storm meant we had seen nothing but rain for three days. Our usual place to eat was jam packed, so we took our chances. What a great find! The seafood starter was great - langoustine, brown shrimps, a couple of oysters, bulots and my main course was cod in a delicious sauce with lentils and bacon and a celeriac purée. The boys (aged 7 and 10) enjoyed proper chicken nuggets (beautifully freshly made) and a rare steak (perfectly cooked). The cafe gourmand desert was a real treat - six mini desserts and an espresso. It was 6pm on a Saturday in Granville and we hadn't booked a dinner table. Before we arrived in town we hadn't appreciated that it was boat show weekend in Granville and the place was rammed with visitors from all over France. Having seen this place's great Tripadvisor reviews, I wandered in off the street at 6.15pm to find they were fully booked. But they nevertheless offered us an early table at 7.15pm, to be finished by 9pm, which suited us fine and was very much appreciated by a hungry family of four.The location is unpromising - behind a large public parking area opposite the industrial fish shed on the port - and the restaurant looks small and not particularly special.
