"La que se lió con una rebanada de pan y el aceite de oliva… Tras comer en varios sitios de comida de la isla, no nos podíamos ir de la misma sin probar el tradicional “Pa Amb Oli”. Por todo el Mediterráneo existen variantes de lo que en Mallorca se conoce como el pa amb oli o en Cataluña se llama pan tumaca. Rebanada de pan payés, aceite de oliva y tomate de ramellet son los productos base, pero siempre puede ir acompañado de embutidos, olives trencades, ajo restregado, fonoll marí o pimientos en vinagre… y un largo etcétera de posibilidades. Toda una exhibición de alimentos mediterráneos. Nos acercamos hasta @barshostal uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de la isla para probar este manjar de la gastronomía tradicional mallorquina, el “Pa Amb Oli”. Este establecimiento rural, ubicado en la localidad de #Montuïri, es uno de los más recomendados. Allí nos recibió @albertocidsantana que nos recomendó extraordinariamente. 1️⃣ Puedes encontrar en 3 tipo de tamaños (pequeño, mediano y grande) Los dos primeros con 3 rebanadas y con 4 rebanadas el más grande. Nos decidimos por el más grande para compartir y de paso lo cogimos variado con lomo, jamón serrano, jamón york, salchichón, chorizo, camallot y queso. También disponían de anchoas, atún y boquerones. Pan consistente y tierno que empapaba ese aceite y hacía que estuviera muy jugoso. Buena calidad y sabores tradicionales de toda la vida. 2️⃣ Tarta de queso. Casera. Consistente y de sabor suave contrastando con el sabor del fruto rojo. Muy rica. La rápida y sencilla preparación, pero a su vez la explosión de sabores que ofrece el pa amb oli, han hecho que este producto sea hoy en día una delicatessen. ¡ Cómo algo tan simple, puede estar tan delicioso!"

"Delicious and local food, great ambiance and attentive service!!! I absolutely love Ca’n Antonio!!! I had previously visited this place when I was in Spain, but the last time I visited a few days ago, I had the impression that they are under a new management team as it’s renovated and it has a fresher look in every sense. As a foodie and a world traveler looking for specialties, I love good finds and also, places to go back to. Two dishes that I would definitely recommend: Carne ibérica a la brasa and Jamón ibérico de bellota, which should be matched with an exquisite wine. Not to be missed!!! As a bonus, the prices are quite reasonable for the quality and the presentation of the food. I believe the menu has a wonderful combination of local ingredients, sophisticated cooking and balanced flavours. This restaurant occupies my top list of places to visit in Mallorca! I cannot wait to be back to try other dishes. Highly recommended!!!"

"Beautiful place both in winter and summer. Varied food and all great at an even better price. Ideal for lunch, dinner and any type of celebration... weddings, baptisms, communions, birthdays... I have been to several and it has always been a 10. I recommend it without a doubt. Lovely staff. Mandatory stop if you come to Mallorca and especially to Montuiri. "No tengo que hacer la reseña demasiado larga, todo 10/10 comida, cantidad, servicio, lugar... Super agradable. No hay carta por cierto, va con menú/comida del día! "I don't recommend it to anyone, read the entire review.Unfortunate treat, to start the waiter and owner of the place has failed to respect, since when asking for several dishes makes the following comment you already notice that you eat these very big ... It seems to me a total lack of respect, it took more than 10 minutes to bring some olives and a little bread with alioli, which we have been charged, we have asked for another round of drink when the bread has come because we have already taken the first one, and we have already asked for the food, several incomings and dishes, after ma of an hour since we sat we have brought the incomings, obviously we have asked for something more to drink. We have taken all the incomings, which have come cold and of a low quality, put homemade croquettes and were of stock, just like the squids and peppers of paddling covered with salt. After a long time they have brought the round we asked before the incomings and the food which was incommunicable, a tumbet in which you are not able to know if you eat potato, pumpkin, verengena or whatever. He only knows how strongly a popurri of spices, on top of it to the bartender and owner of the place tells us to thank him since he has had the detail of not charging 2 reeds and the tumbet that stayed in the dish.I will not return to such a place. .."
