"In the Remchingsfarm we want to return. Inside it is very cozy, outside in summer too. Whether it's near the main road, we like to sit here. Food is great. Only the fish dishes and the Mediterranean salads convinced us. Pasta and meat dishes we had already and were satisfied. Pizza has never been ordered here because of the tempting menu. It is not cheap here, but everything remains within the framework. Especially when considering the size and quality of the feed. We were always very friendly and competently served here so you can't complain. The toilets are clean and many parking spaces are also available."

"We visited this Italian restaurant more often. On the one hand it is on our bike path to Karlsruhe, on the other hand we are satisfied here. The restaurant has a small beer garden, which is often visited very well in summer. But also inside it is quite small, well visited and it often makes a full impression. Well, on the one hand, this speaks for good food, on the other hand you also have to be in mood, romance and cosiness is at least different. Nevertheless, you are served here and the food is not only rich, but also very tasty. We usually eat pizza, salad and/or pasta dishes. The pizzas and salads are very good. Fresh, delicious, big portions. We were always very happy. For pizzas or large salads (with more than green; we pay about 7-9 euros. Beverages are also located in a favorable midfield."

"This restaurant was recommended to a work colleague and me by our German host. It was within easy walking distance (10-15 minutes) of the Hotel zur Linde, where we were staying. Note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays.The restaurant is in an historic old building with wonderful wooden beams and pillars. It claims to have been a family run inn since 1558.The restaurant is entered through a lovely old courtyard, which would be a cool dark oasis on a hot summer’s day. On arriving, we encountered a coach party leaving the restaurant so we timed our entrance just right.We noticed that several tables were reserved so it is obviously a popular restaurant. We managed to find a table and our order was taken. During the evening we saw no sign of any male workers – all the cooking and serving seemed to be done by three ladies who could have been from one family as we thought we could discern facial similarities. We were served by a middle-aged lady who, at first, seemed rather brusque with little knowledge of English. Therefore I quickly got out my trusty German phrase book and dictionary and proceeded to translate the menu and what to say. We’d been told the rump steak was excellent so we both chose that, ordering our steaks the way we liked best in our poorly pronounced German. However, we ensured our order was understood by pointing to the relevant words!Firstly, we had a salad dressed in an excellent vinaigrette. The rump steak came with fried onions and potatoes. It was extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. Very tender. It was washed down very well with a local red wine, full of fruit and with just enough body.We fancied a dessert and selected something we thought was black forest gateau. It was close but not quite gateau. On telling of our experience later, back in the UK, to a better German speaker it emerged that a better translation was black forest cup or goblet. Anyway, whatever it was was delicious. Lashings of cream covering a lot of black cherries and ice cream with copious quantities of liquor – seriously alcoholic!We were one of the last people to leave the restaurant and, we assume that by making the effort of trying to speak in German, were wished a very warm auf Wiedersehen by all the staff. The staff definitely had warmed to us during the evening.We staggered back to our hotel having enjoyed a wonderful last evening on our business trip.We both thoroughly recommend this restaurant, which also has a separate guesthouse with about 8 rooms. We will definitely be returning. The restaurant is a great alternative from those in Karslruhe itself. It is easy to get to this restaurant from Karlsruhe by tram (S5 line)."

"2. Test Oktober 2021: Keinerlei GGG (Getestet, Geimpft, Genesen) Kontrolle oder Einchecken über Luca. Bedienungen neutral freundlich mit Maske. Essen war OK und ruckzuck da. Nach 45 Minuten waren wir mit allem durch. Kein Wunder bei Fertigsauce zum Fritteusenschnitzel, Fertigdressing zum Salat, frittierten Fertig-Bratkartoffeln und Pommes. Das Rumpsteak war gut. Die Terrasse ist inzwischen vergrößert und es gibt ausfahrbare Markisen. Generell ist alles sehr großzügig angelegt. Wäre also Platz genug ALLE Tische mit dem gewünschten Abstand (etwa 2 Meter) zueinander aufzustellen. Bei einigen sitzt man jedoch Stuhl/Rücken an Stuhl/Rücken mit dem Nebentisch. Deshalb gibts immer noch keinen Punkt mehr..."

"We ate here a few weeks ago. Operation super nice. The roast cheese ball! That happened. The mixed salad...what should I say... half an iceberg salad with 3 cucumber slices and 3 cocktail tomatoes tadaa!?...so what a mixed salad... And then the salad sauce tasted like water! The meat I had was very hard! It could hardly chew. The location: during the day it may not be so noticeable... but in the evening you can see the smeared slices! It doesn't look beautiful! In addition, extremely bright light and hardly decoration not very cozy! Rather station flatter... Very minimalist or karg furnished. It didn't feel comfortable there. And this is also part of it.... I'm afraid you're not going twice."
