"Went to this restaurant on a Sunday night when little else was available in town. We sat inside as it was a little chilly outside. Both the outside seating across the street and the inside had plenty of open seats so it didn‘t appear to...be overly busy. My first question was „Can we sit anywhere?“ (Coming from America, we don‘t just take an open seat but wait for the staff to tell us where to sit The waitress, who I suspect might also have been the owner, replied with attitude „We’ll, anyplace that isn‘t already taken.“ It only got worse from there. She was so rude I would describe her as openly hostile. She was the only one serving and taking orders both inside and outside, so I‘m sure she was stressed. When I tried to make nice by commenting on how busy she was she said something like, „Is that a problem for you?“ The whole experience was torturous and I couldn’t wait to eat and leave. I was using my limited German to speak with her, but I found out later her English was excellent as she dealt with some Brits who walked in. Not sure why she didn’t offer to use her English with us when she heard me translating to my husband. In fact, I spent most of the night wondering if there was something I said or did that elicited such offensive behavior from her. I was only polite, friendly, and patient, but she never softened in her attitude toward us. I wish I hadn’t left her a tip (she asked us to just leave the cash for our bill at the table), but I took the high road and hoped she would regret having treated us so badly. The food was excellent and the portions were huge, but so was the price tag. It was the most expensive meal we had in our two weeks trip to Germany. I would recommend staying away from this place."

The service was rude, the beer cola was flat and warm. We paid for bad tap water with stones as ice cubes. They did not care for us as customers. Stay away

Great food served by two great waitresses who were very flexible with organizing food for the children as there were no actual menu for children. The restaurant was very authentic and cozy all in all highly recommendable! Voir le carte

..but we found a bit of dog poo under our table. We were sitting outside on the terrace with gravel on the ground and we suppose a cat or a dog used that place. It was hidden under the gravel and when we discovered it...and told the waitress, she should have done something about it but she just apologized and left it where it was.

Restaurants we had on our list were either full or closed, so we picked this place right across the street from our hotel. Very attractive place, even charming, and the service was just fine. Our meals were among the better we had on a two-week...trip !! Our waitress was absolutely delightful and an English-speaker. The prices were reasonable for this busy medieval town and we were surprised when we were served a complimentary after-dinner brandy. My wife and I hope to return to Quedlinburg and to this cozy restaurant.

The Prinz Heinrich was not on our books or agenda at all as we just happened to stumble across it randomly when we went out for a walk before calling it a night. This little bar is directly across the Wyndham Garden and looks like...a preserved artifact of times past with casement-looking windows and dark cherry wood interior, complete with wine colored heavy drapes finished with golden fringe to keep the draft out. Minimal selection of alcohol but wine assortment is fair. There is also a decent sized dinner menu. This little corner bar is good for a nightcap and a chat with friendly staff and locals. After arriving in Quedlinburg we stumbled across this restaurant while looking for a place to eat. The restaurant has a nice terrace, but unfortunately it was crowded (read: full) at that specific time. The inside looked vintage (which I happen to like) and we sat...down in a cozy corner. The service was friendly. We both ordered Schnitzels. One with Collyflower and one with pfifferling (rare) mushrooms. Unfortunately, while the potatoes, collyflower and mushrooms were delicious, both of the schnitzels were too dry for our taste. To the restaurants defense..... it was really busy that night, so it was probably an incident. Hence the still very decent score.

We picked this place to eat as it was Sunday evening and it was next to our hotel. It looked like a nice cosy local corner restaurant. Wrong. The hostess/waitress was not friendly. A German couple kindly offered to translate the menu for us, and...began to run through the specials menu, when the waitress came over and took it from them. She spoke very little English and grumpily did her best to sell us the most expensive dishes on the main menu, ignoring our requests to explain the handwritten daily specials menu. She brought fizzy water instead of still (not that serious I know). She also brought me the wrong main dish I ordered pork but she brought a fish dish which consisted of a huge pil...
