"I had dinner here last week. it reminded me of a beloved family restaurant that we often visited in rom (peroni, the beer-builder). back to portofino in frankfurt. . had a wonderful main dish called grandmas fusilli (pasta) with lamb. very tasty...and fill. the next day the half of it for lunch. wein is good and affordable at under 5 euro a glass. I had pinot grigio. Dessert options are numerous. we could not decide what to order so our waiter beat a “sampler” plate. I thought I had died and went into the sky when it came and we thought we would never end it, but we all wanted to lick the plate licking! service was helpful and friendly. I have lived in frankfurt for 12 years and will come back here often. suggest to order the specialization and discover how European Italians eat. do not let them appear from the food as they enter the door. it is freshly cooked and delivered to it directly from the steam bath in which it was cooked. make a reservation to ensure a table."
