we went when there was live music. it was a blues jam. the music was great, like the friendly atmosphere. good for the type of venue

What a great place. I found it on opentable and was pleasantly surprised. The staff, beer and food were all excellent; and topped off with great live music.

Sunday lunch with family of nine to celebrate a birthday. The bar staff were warm and friendly. There was live music and atmosphere great. Food all served together and was lovely. Pub decor is very tired but that’s more than offset by every else being excellent. Recommend and will definitely go again.

We booked a table online and upon arrival were completely ignored by both members of staff. After a while we went to the bar to get out drinks. Eventually we were acknowledged and a menu appeared. Not a great welcome. Food was variable, and the service eventually became attentive. Nice ambience and live band.

Very disappointing. My wife and I have been here a few times and eaten here on one occasion before. On this occasion, the room was cold, a number of items were unavailable and the elderly newzealanders who accompanied us were upset by the loud drunken swearing from the next table. The fish chips one of us had was a greasy disaster and the ‘roast’ was tepid. A shame, we used to like the place. Voir le carte
