"Decker's is best known for its amazing cakes, so inventive and delicious. Try the rhubarb meringue for instance. Outdoor, indoor and upstairs tables with riverside view. Big coffee, teas and drinks menu, and light lunches too, all excellent. There's an inviting breakfast menu that you could spend half the day on. If you're there in the autumn, they do "zwiebelkuche mit neuwein" - traditional onion tart with the new season's wine which is deceptively drinkable but can be lethal."

"A small local eatery near the Hotel Baren, it had attentive staff and really good food. We ordered the creamy white asparagus soup which was thick and had chunks of white asparagus in it. I loved the flavor, it was very light tasting. I also ordered the steamed white asparagus covered with hollandaise sauce with herbed potatoes on the side. It was super delicious and fresh! It was my first time tasting their local delicacy and it was worth it! Th sauce wasn't overly seasoned, but goes well with the asparagus. The herbed potatoes was cooked well, and tasted light as well. There's no parking lot so just park along the street."

"three courses from the large menu, 68,- € - with view of the main course appropriate. Bread/square/pain is and amuse is delicious. very good pickled fjord trout with supplements, sorbet from the house. the main course, germ from the maibock, pfifferlings, greener spargel, mispel, sellerie cream, was simply brilliant. the cheese to dessert has unfortunately fallen off. table neighbors had the same cheese outside a menu and paid for it 16 €. nice service, good advice by the senior manager. weeping prices appropriate for the very good weeping. it is to be emphasized and praised that even cheap local typical dishes are offered in the map "simply storchen", as otherwise some houses in a secondary economy. no one has to fear that in the dead only to be raised passes. at any time."

"On a warm day in spring, Ascension Day 2016, was a nice day in the Black Forest, we stopped on the way back to the camp site in Staufen for an ice cream. This place was recommended and I intend to agree with the previous positive reviews. The ice-store is located in the main street in Staufen and with warm wetter, you cannot overlook the queue. It took us about about 10-15 minutes. Is it worth waiting? Yes! I tasted the Muskateller wine ice and the pear-gingerbread. The latter taste was special, it was good, but in the end I will not take it again (not my taste). The first one, Muskateller wine ice, I definitely would reconsider. It's a kind of tasteful sorbet ice. Really good. Score: 4 out of 5"

"My wife and I and two friends decided to meet at the Palmyra for lunch on a Sunday and we were not disappointed. As usual, my wife ordered two starters and our friends and I ordered fish for our main course. As expected, the fish...were cooked in a Middle East style. I prefer fish slightly less cooked but, nevertheless, the meal was well presented and very flavoursome. A local Rose wine proved a good accompaniment for the fish. We also ordered four desserts, which were very good."
