Pizzeria Piccola L'originale

I came here after visiting the neptunebad spa as it was just down the road. Really quick service and very tasty food and the prices were very reasonable!

We were about people out for a lunch and we waited a lot for our meals, eventhough they had our reservation. The pasta is very good but I expected a bit more. Would go back if I get the chance too, but still not...too impressed.

Always go here when in cologne booking is advisable but if you get there early you may get in pasta dishes are huge hot and tasty pizza are great and a wide choice of other dishes Plenty of choice at the bar so a good...evening as usual Voir le carte

The restaurant is nice inside. Fast service and nice people. I had tagliatelle with salmon and it was a lot of cream and nothing special. The tiramisu and panna cotta were not so nice. I d rather visit Vapiano for a better taste and half...of the price.

Although the place was really busy, we didn’t enjoy the pizza here. It was heavy on the cheese, and the dough was soggy/chewy. They also charged more for our water than the price on the menu and charged extra for gratuity without stating this on...the menu...

Amazing place, very quick and polite service! The portions were very good in size and in a reasonable price! The food was served very quickly making it a perfect choice if you are really hungry! They also serve Italian beers, which actually made me really...happy!Definetly to recommend! Voir le carte

Needed a quick local restaurant after a long day. Found Piccola on tripadvisor and it was only walk from hotel. Very quick and efficient service. Lovely antipasti to start and perfectly cooked pizza. I know it's not what to do when in Germany but...I was visiting a trade fair to meet Italian suppliers so I don't feel quite so guilty. Definitely worth a visit, sit outside and watch the world go by.

I had planned to have pasta when visiting last but they put cream into their carbonara, which to me is a mega no-no, so I went pizza instead. Whilst flavourful and big enough, the base was thick an doughy. not enough crunch and much too...heavy for my liking Cologne has some real good pizza. I'll try to avoid the piccola places from now on and we only went yesterday because the Italian we wanted to go to was on break. Service was good however and admitted that they Germanise' certain dishes a bit.

We accidentally stumbled across this place whilst looking for somewhere to go near our apartment. We lucked out! The food was absolutely scrumptious, we had a mozzarella and tomato starter and it was one of the best I have had. Utterly Scrummy and that was...just the starter. We had gnocchi and risotto for mains and they were both lovely! No complaints! The staff were really really friendly and chatty The only downside is that it was cash only and we didn’t realise but there was a cash point over the road so no drama. Would HIGHLY recommend!
