Great food large portions for a great priceThe line can be long, hard to find a parking space and it can get a little hectic but it is worth it.

love francesscas eating is delicious the ambiente is warm and friendly and at a reasonable price. What else could you ask? You have to wait, but you have to get a drink while you stand and take it all in. Voir le carte

beautiful personal, great eating, beautiful decor. I went with my daughters and we had a cannelloni, spagbol and a penne bolognese. I took the other half of my cannelloni home. for desserts we had a heavenly sorrow and a part of the profiterrole. it enjoyed our girls at night.

had lunch here with my wife and daughter, staff very friendly and sociable, served quickly with drinks (pinte by peroni, 1/2 peroni, diet coke and glass by prosecco) eating was beautiful, tomaten garlauch brot, smoked haddock risotto, penne arabiata, tagliatelle carbonara, and all for less than £ 50.

great food and atmosphere. a very new idea how to order their favorite pasta and pizza dish as half a half a half! ridicully eat cheap and also drink with an authentic, rustic and Italian feel. the only complaint I would have is that the waiting period was longer than usual, and there was no possibility to book. but a big waiting queue is always a good sign! Highly recommended. They take no bookings so you just turn up and queue as we did for almost an hour (at 7pm) but it was well worth the wait. Loads of different Italian meals and wines at a reasonable cost. You can chose half and half pizza and pasta. We all chose seafood variations and agreed it was the best Italian meal we had had for years. We will be queuing again very soon.

Didn’t get over the door. Visited on a Saturday teatime after a few recommendations. Rang ahead to book a table but we were told they don’t reserve tables and you just walk in.. Queue of around 10 people when we arrived and 45 minutes later the queue had grown as we counted at least 15 people “joining friends” ahead of us in the queue. Don’t mind the odd person joining friends but when a party of 2 grows to a party of 10 you just know that’s more table space being swallowed up. Looks like a popular place but I have never experienced a system like it in my life and after an hour queuing we did what a few others did and went somewhere else.

While staying in the area and after seeing the high rating, thought I would give this place a go. Went early after reading about potential queue, but I wasn't early enough and waited 45 mins to be seated. The smells were good and kept me in said queue. The place is really really busy and the crowd seems to be mainly students, was so hungry and really looking forward to this authentic Italian experience unfolding before me. The staff were all great and friendly, the food here was it's let down, don't get me wrong it's ok hence the 3 stars but was expecting so much more. For the price though couldn't complain. The half pizza half pasta I got was average, don't understand how they do half a piz... Voir le carte
