"Kroatischer Familienbetrieb mit neuerdings einer sehr schön angelegten Sommerterasse.Es ist keine Sterneküche, aber lecker und man wird endlich einmal wieder satt.Der Koch hat durchaus Ahnung die Garzeiten des Fleisches sind alle auf denPunkt sodass die Speisen schmackhaft und nicht trocken im Halse stecken bleibenwie manchen Mitbewerbern. Zuvorkommende Bedienung die auch ein offenes Ohr für extra Wünsche hat die teilweise nicht einmal in Rechnung gestellt werden.Durchaus kinderfreundlich, es gibt auch Buntstifte zum malen."

"Dieses indische Restaurant entdeckten wir zufällig im Januar mit Freunden. Nun waren wir heute wieder da und das Essen war erneut absolut köstlich. Die Fleischqualität ist sehr gut und die Soßen sind einfach ein Gedicht. Von außen sieht das Lokal mehr als unscheinbar aus, aber innen ist es sehr schön eingerichtet. Die leise indische Musik im Hintergrund empfand ich als sehr angenehm. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Schade, dass der Inder nicht bei uns um die Ecke ist. Aufgrund des hervorragenden Essens werden wir aber bestimmt demnächst mal wieder den Weg von Frankfurt in Kauf nehmen ...Tipp 1: Di - Fr wird ein Mittagstisch angeboten. Dann gibt es 14 Gerichte zu einem äußerst günstigen Preis von € 6,90 bis € 7,90. Tipp 2: Unbedingt mal eines der frisch zubereiteten Fladenbrote probieren.Tipp 3: Die Speisen werden in kleinen Töpfchen serviert, die am Tisch warm gehalten werden. Man sollte daher unbedingt (zumindest beim ersten Mal) unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellen, um möglichst viele Geschmacksrichtungen ausprobieren zu können."

"Die Lokalität ist sehr schön und urig. Leider jedoch bei der vielzahl an Gästen etwas laut. Der Service könnte etwas besser sein, nicht, dass sie nicht freundlich und zuvorkommend waren, jedoch musste man sich immer selbst bemerkbar machen, wenn man etwas zu trinken wollte. Wir hatten einen Tisch, neben den Besteckschrank und den Karten, unser Tisch stand leider so nah dran, dass wenn der Service Besteck und Karten brauchte er uns oft abstubste oder das Stuhlbein unabsichtlich trat. Da sollte man doch noch drüber nachdenken, dies etwas anders zu gestalten. Das Essen war absolut Top, von der Menge, zur Qualität und hin zur Frische."

"Every year for 3 years in February I attended a trade fair in Frankfurt. We were there for a week each time. Thats a long time for that activity. Also, we saw very few UK customers but were obliged to be there by the German...MD. Every year we stayed in Friedrichsdorf, in the same hotel, the Mercure, and pretty much had a block booking at the same italian restaurant, La Montanara which was great. Its a fairly small restaurant, very rustic and traditional. Very friendly too. I have eaten so much pizza and drunk so much grappa in this place that I'm sure some must be incorporated into my DNA! My real favorite pizza there is the one with several different types of mushrooms on it. I am a veggie and I dread to think how they made these mushrooms taste so meaty. Absolutely wonderful, I have never tasted anything so good anywhere else. Most nights we would drink a fair quantity of complimentary grappa and then buy loads more. We had many snowball fights walking back from this restaurant to our hotel. I'm not sure I ever ate the pasta here because the pizzas were so good, but some colleagues did and loved it. In the billion times we ate there, I never heard anybody complain about anything ever. One things which was quite funny, was that you had to leave the resaurant by a side door to use the toilet, and its was very very cold there in February I can tell you. Its quite a small restaurant too and when full (which it always was when we descended on it), its was difficult to move around in there, but it was excellent fun. The people who ran the place were so nice to us every night! If you ever stay in this town go there its great!"

"Gran Sasso is a classic, petty-bourgeois pizzeria, as you can only wish. (And we are glad that they do not even try to make precious Italians; . The pizza is great, wonderfully delicious dough and a crust as it should be. The cover is generous but not overloaded. But the pasta dishes can also be seen. Whether Carbonara Original or the German version with cream, both delicious and with noodles that are boiled to the point. The ambience is more rustic, but perfectly fine. Yeah, it can be loud when it's full again. For me, however, rather a seal of quality, because the restaurant is always well visited during the week, which is certainly also the friendly service in addition to the good food. We like to come here and order to pick up again and again for home. A thumb high for pizza and pasta you should have tried."
