Pizza East - Shoreditch

Pizzas were so disappointing. The Margharita was basically some passata straight out the jar smeared across the dough and a few blobs of cheese. Beautiful building, lovely staff, great location. Food rubbish.

We visited in a group of 22. From start to finish the evening was perfect. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very attentive. The drinks flowed and the food was absolutely gorgeous. We had the best evening and will definitely return.

Trendy Pizza/Italian food joint, with a New York, Industrial/Loft vibe. It's the ground floor of the old NCP car park and it's turned out very nicely. My Napoletana Pizza £14.50 was well executed, the Rigatoni £17.00 was a bit plain, but perfectly fine. My partner and I had a wonderful date night at Pizza East and it exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious! Our waitress, Giannina, was friendly and gave us great recommendations. Our favorites were the zucchini fritti, the spicy diavola pizza, and the Sicilian sorbetto and doughnut for dessert. We will definitely be returning.

My wife and I recently went to Pizza East to get takeaway dinner. Takeaway option via Uber Eats is nice option to have. I went to pick-up food and the restaurant is very large. Food highlight was the lasagna. The pizza was also good but got little cold on journey back to apartment. We plan to be back and eat in the restaurant. Not far from our apartment and easy to get to.

High octane space very welcoming and easy to get settled in. Firat our waiter took great care of us and so we chose exactly what we were hankering after, I had a ham and burrata pizza it was utterly lush and enjoyed my red wine. Quite loud music so it wasn't always that easy to talk across the table, I suggest a section of the restaurant where there are no speakers and that the staff ask people on entrance do they want a quiet table or a party table. Starter of zucchini fries was messy they lacked substance, either needed to be fried in clusters or be thicker individually. Pizza was overly sweet for a puttanesca don’t know if this was in the dough or the sauce. Not a fan. Although the staff were really nice and threw in a slice of cake for my friend’s birthday the restaurant was not very busy and the service was very unattentive. I have not been in year but it’s seems to have dropped its standard,

I had a great experience at Pizza East. Our waiter Firat was incredibly helpful, especially with accommodating my food allergies. The food was delicious, made with the freshest ingredients. I will definitely be returning in the future. It was a relief to see that the menu did not include any sesame, as it is often added as a garnish or in dishes like hummus, which can be problematic for those with allergies. I appreciate that Pizza East offers a simple, flavorful, and authentic Italian menu.

We were really happy with our meal at Pizza East. We walked past and were pleasantly surprised at the minimalist industruial look of the space. The music being played was great too. We started with the anchovies which were so tasty and beautifully presented. Our pizzas were delicious too. I tried the N'djua and honey which was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The pizza bases were light and tasty.... The service was attentive but not stifling.... We had a bottle of wine to accompany our meal and were very pleased with it . It was a bit pricy but certainly we will return. Voir le carte
