Enjoyed an excellent Saturday Set Lunch menu today with friends. Lovely setting, attentive staff and good food. (BTW the hunting scene wallpaper is long gone replaced by more modern muted colours)

amazing eating. had the black pudding and stabbed eierstarter. roast sirloin pornstar and rhubarb, ingwer and hazelnut crumble for dessert. all on all 3 of my plates was delicious, already this place was recommended to my colleagues!

Outstanding meal. Came here with a couple of friends and was not disappointed! The staff were accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. There was a festive, cosy atmosphere and the food was to die for. Highly recommended the artichokes and the scallops. We will be back!

great Sunday dinner. all had the faint that was tender and tasty. perfectly cooked vegetables. I'm always hesitant to roast away from home, but that's the best I can remember. it is not the cheapest, but they pay for quality. hopefully, the new owners and the team are able to get it a success as plan.

We have been a couple of times with friends since it re-opened in early Oct. it is a really well furnished and atmospheric inn, with really friendly, knowledgable and efficient staff. Well located on border of Cambs. and Northants. near J15 of A14. They have a really varied menu servings selection of both A La Carte and Pub Classics, plus sharing Nibbles as alternatives to as well as a good choice of Starters and Deserts. Their Pies are excellent. Great service. Can thoroughly recommend.

We booked for Christmas lunch at The Pheasant this year mainly because of the high standard of previous meals eaten here since the new owners took over. We were certainly not disappointed ...this must have been the best festive lunch I have eaten (and there have been many). The five course menu was well thought out and well executed. From the delicious canapes to the Starters of which we each had something different..... Soup, pate and lobster all of which were delicious. We all had Turkey Crown and Christmas Pudding followed by coffee and warm mince pies. Re opened, refurbished and back with a bang! A classic thatched country pub which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored to more than its former glory, with new owners and new management. It now features a wonderful and sizeable pub garden with stunning views over the Cambridgeshire countryside with the quaint addition of Highland Cows who seem to enjoy watching the customers! Having been for drinks and food now on a couple of occasions, the menu is sophisticated, tasty with plenty of variety. If you're enjoying a drink in the garden, for nibbles, I highly recommend the cheese fritters they compliment a cool glass of Prosecco perfectly. There is an extensive wine list and a selection...
