The venue is nice. The food, cost and portion size really let this place down. The portions were tiny but expensive. I had chicken shawarma which came in a tiny small plate even though it was priced £9.00. We also had the Lam orzo again no lamb pieces and small. The one we enjoyed the most of the koftas. The flatbread was small and flavourless. in the end our group of 4 ordered 6 mains with 4 sides. It was an expensive night! Will not be returning. Voir le carte

Peggy’s Skylight is an amazing venue. We had the best evening. The live music was top quality, ‘Sticky Morales’ were brilliant. A diverse audience who totally appreciated the amazing music, made it more than comfortable and difficult to refuse to dance the night away. We had tapas first with an Iranian and Persian flavour. Highly recommend the backed feta and the salt cod with orange, absolutely delicious. A top night out, fantastic vibes, great music and gorgeous food. Will be back very soon.

What a hidden gem this is. We went to the twilight performance and opted for the cinema style seating. The venue is welcoming and whilst a little quirky this just added to the amazing atmosphere. The food is a little different than we’d have chosen and the menu is quite limited, however when it arrived it was absolutely delicious. It was well presented and tasted fantastic. We were also lucky enough to be able to enjoy the happy hour on the cocktails. These were delicious too and can highly recommended the Long Island tea. The band was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. It’s such a shame we have nowhere like this locally to us, however would plan a break in Nottingham agai...

I went with my girlfriend a few days ago to celebrate our anniversary it was a wonderful evening. We were seated on the far wall on what seemed to be cinema seats. I'm now sure that Peggy's is one of Nottingham's best venues: the band were stellar in a very understated way; the room is spacious but feels romantic intimate. Staff are all friendly and were only too happy to take a photo for us. Food and cocktails are both delicious. A word of caution, although not enough to subtract a star the tapas portions are not massive for the price, so it's perhaps best for a light evening meal if you're starving and have a few drinks it will get costly quite quickly.
