"I was visiting berlin and for the first time in papageno. I met the owner right in front of the door and we came directly into the conversation, very friendly, grounded and very interested in the well-being of his guests. the service was very friendly and flotted, while unobtrusive and discreet. the food impresses with good ingredients and a typical Italian cuisine, as you do not find it with many Italians in Germany. to the opening there was a small bohnensuppet, very tasty dressed, to the main course there was a steak from the hard fish on a fine orangenjus and to the conclusion a dessert variation with creations that I had not seen anywhere. the visit was a birthday invitation for my guests and a full success. Pity that I am only twice a year in berlin next time I am definitely back in papageno!"

we were the first time in papageno but certainly not the last time. prices slightly higher but for this to eat a top quality. super service alone is worth coming back. think we found our new favorite Italian.

From the beginning, the service was really good. They took our jacket before we sat down. Dishes were coming in a really good pace; not too fast, not too slow. The food was great. The fish with the right amount of sauce (not flooded like in other places), and the pasta was excellent. Dishes are garnished simply, but using great product, like it should be. Even the chef came out to talk with us and some other clients, and we talked a little bit with the owner, a funny man. The ambient was really nice for a dinner with a couple of with friends.
