"I treated my friend to an annual day out and we decided to try Papa John's pizza for the first time. We chose the family feast deal which included 2 medium pizzas, 2 sides, and a drink for £22.99 - an amazing offer! We were pleasantly surprised to find a half-off deal for ordering 4 toppings on 2 medium pizzas. We went with hot buffalo wings and cheesy breadsticks, along with a Pepsi to drink. Although there was a technical issue with the online payment and I was charged twice, the issue was resolved promptly after contacting the bank. I appreciate the patience and helpfulness of the staff member who assisted me over the phone. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and look forward to getting the refund for the extra charge. "Exquisite little hide out in the centre of Chelmsford.great ambience and wonderful wine. A particularly nice chocolate dessert wine. We visited one 13th April.rhe staff were so attentive and there was so much choice. The set menu was great value. I however, have a gluten and dairy allergy, and was offered a wonderful range of food including a dessert that wasn't sorbet. That really pleased me. Would I recommend? Absolutely"

"We had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant! I was pleasantly surprised to find the sea bass served whole—it was beautifully prepared and incredibly fresh and delicious. The seafood linguine was also exceptional! The prices are reasonable, and the service was very attentive. I highly recommend this place!"

"We decided to change locations simply because they serve the best sandwich in town. My go-to choice is a toasted thin granary bread with ham and their delicious homemade coleslaw, all served by one of their attractive servers. They also offer Sandwich Platters for parties, and I've heard they even provide entertainment with dancers."

"I've been here a couple times before with my wife, the food's always banging except for a rare time I was disappointed. It's a safe choice, we would definitely recommend it. Our usual go-to is a Pad thai but I've tried the Singapore laksa and char grilled duck and all 3 are delicious, definitely worth trying and portions are a very good size. There's usually a 2 for 1 mocktail offer too, which we always grab. We haven't really tried the desserts or starters, we had the gyoza once and they were okay, nothing special and same applies to spring rolls. The service and atmosphere is normally good but busy times like Friday nights can ruin it a little. Overall solid restaurant (which is also halal, just ask), the chain as a whole is consistently good."

"I was appalled at the quality of service from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, which was about When I arrived I was not asked if I would like a drink, and I wasn't asked throughout the whole meal. The waitress should have seen on the table that we only had tap water, and asked whether we'd like another drink. Then, we ordered our first round of hot food. I pressed the help button and after waiting for a good minutes for the waitress finally arrived. I felt it was too long. At this point in the evening there were three full tables in the whole restaurant so I thought the amount of time we had to wait was poor. Then the food started coming over, but the food didn't come altogether. A couple of dishes came and then a few more and a few more after that. This meant we didn't all eat together, we ate all at different times. I had ordered two dishes to eat at the same time and they didn't arrive at the same time. Very disappointing. The third order of hot food was beyond a joke. It was clear that one of the two waitress wasn't feeling very well (I overheard one of the chef's telling her to go home). She was our waitress. So, we ordered the third round of hot food. minutes later we still didn't have our food. In this time the chef was talking to the ill waitress. I then pressed the help button and I explained that we'd ordered some food and had been waiting a rather long time. I then look round at the waitress and chef and it was absolutely clear that the order didn't go through so it was only then that the food was starting to be cooked. The waitress who took the order explained that there's been lots of issues and she was sorry. As a customer paying for a meal, I don't care about the issues, I still expected good service and my food to turn up. Overall I thought the service was absolutely terrible. I will not be visiting this restaurant again and I will not be recommending the restaurant to anyone."
