"I have been to Palladio, which is located in a very frequented area at the start of the pedestrian zone in Ettlingen, several times, mostly at lunchtime. Palladio is best described as a cafe and bistro at lunchtime and in addition a bar later on...the day. The interior does not provide anything special and has a bit of a used look. At lunchtime cleaning does not seem to keep up, so it can look a bit untidy. The kitchen is in the back of the bar, doors are open. This creates the problem that cooking smells disseminate in the entire restaurant. So prepare to smell like you were frying food yourself. The restrooms are ways to small and lack proper cleaning. The quality of service varies, it can be ok to horrible, depending on the day and the mood of the staff. A variety of different foods are offered on the (too) large menu. Most of it however tastes poorly. Minor requests to the kitchen to omit single ingredients are skillfully ignored, so why ask in the first place. In addition, prices are definitely not cheap at Palladio, especially considering what one is offered. I have decided to not visit this place again in the nearer future, it simply isn't worth it."

The Palladio is not fine dining, but it offers enough to keep one happy. They do tapas, pizza, pasta and more. Sitting inside and outside is nice, though some places outside can be noisy as its next to a busy road. It's a good place for a casual get together with friends, for an informal business dinner or just to have something to nibble with your glass of wine.

I have been there a few times with my son and girlfriend for dinners and really enjoyed it. It is a small place with a few tables outside and more seating inside the building (opposite the Cubanita). Choice you will have is all sorts of things Italian. We had some mixed antipasti, pizza, pasta and bruschetta. All very good, nicely looking and served by very nice staff who always had a small chit chat and brought some extras for my little son.

Was there with my mother, since I had tried out the restaurant sometime during spring with a friend and it was, without doubt, delicious. Wasn't disappointed for my second visit either. The salads are fresh and tasty, the steak was juicy, the pasta was mouth-watering, the cocktails fresh and refreshing, the staff very friendly, the service a bit slow, but I wasn't in a hurry anyway. Too bad it's so close to the street and a bit loud because of the cars. Overall a great experience, eager to eat there again.

Unquestionably the worst pizza I've ever eaten in a cafe/bistro/pizzeria/restaurant.A complete waste of money. From the freezer? Maybe, but I've had much better tasting pizza from the supermarket. The San Pellegrino mineral water was drinkable at least.Service? Too cool for school. Note to staff: you are not in New York, you are in a backwater of southern Germany. It's back to the take-away pizza from Casa del Gusto for me (but not for the service their either). Ettlingen: too many people with too much money who have no idea about food.

"the zwitscherstube is the secret of the small garden club „Kuhlager Seele“ rüppurr e.V. is located in the center of the small garden complex of the same name. the latter is located at the rande of the Karlsruher-Näher- und landschaftsschutzgebiet above the forest. because the car traffic on the small garden area is prohibited, the restaurant returns the approx. 150 meters long distance from parking to restaurant back to foot. or he comes from the beginning to the foot or with the wheel. the reward for this little effort is an idyllic seat under shaded trees, and far away from the traffic noise. they listen to the beautiful terrace only tweeting the birds, the talks of the guests and the children when they play on the place that can be seen from the terrace, fenced and beautifully decorated. Greek and German dishes are on the menu of the zwitscherstube, from cold and warm Greek dishes to meat and fish dishes (e.g. Moreover, various desserts, especially eiskreations, are offered. when we visited the twittering room in the early afternoon in connection with our home dinner, we only ordered soft drinks at the very friendly waiter, which was served after a pleasant short waiting period. before the payment the waiter asked us if we would like a ouzo or an espresso on a house. this at an invoice price of not even 5 euro! we rejected him at our next visit and comforted him. at the end there is still a minus point to consider: my wife reported that the damentoilette is extremely dense and therefore most likely is inaccessible for wheelchair and/or roller driver."
