Ottolenghi Islington

First time at Ottolenghi for dinner and it was terrific. Delicious and fresh food, very good service and a wonderful atmosphere.

The shop had a nice fit out, the coffee was good and so too the pastries but the staff were quite indifferent and not interested. Changed a good experience to a poor one.

Cold food, cold decoration with a hospital feeling, no tasty at all. I couldn't eat the food, it was like a frozen food and also I got sick. Not a good experience honestly. Voir le carte

Great food, rude staff. The woman who served us our takeaway acted as if she was upset we were even in there. I use to come here once a week but will likely stop because of the staff.

Light, crisp, delicious decor and food. I could not fault anything. Service was perfect and charming , menu (lunch) short but with wide variety. No hesitation in returning for a light lunch in the future.

Stopped for coffee and cake but have eaten lunch here previously. Portions are good sizes, plenty of options and all tasty. Lots of options for cakes pastries you are spoilt for choice! Reasonable prices. Very chilled vibe with plenty of seats. Voir le carte

The wait was ridiculous. Food was quite good. I could be making a meal out of a coincidence but I’m sure that someone that looked incredibly rich that arrived well after me, got their food well before I did unless they are paying for express service, that absolutely annoys me.

Been many times before but last night left us wanting more. Green bean salad made with completely raw beans not blanched couldn’t cut them. Aubergine with tahini good. Brought sea bass by mistake instead of cod glad they did as cod completely tasteless. Six bits of pork belly on a lettuce leaf!! Nothing like as good as before. Desserts something else or would have given two rating. Please ring back the quality food!

The food was good as expected. Service and atmosphere disastrous. The young people who serve here are grumpy and make the customer feel unwelcome . One nearly feels you have to apologize for being here. Glasses of vine were not filled to usual standard . They refilled them when we asked , but no apologies were given. Quite shocking that a brand like Ottolenghi should deliver so badly with their staff , seemingly untrained and perhaps underpaid. Will not come back . The atmosphere in that restaurant is too stressed and unpleasant. Voir le carte
