"Everything here is amazing, starting with the atmosphere and the fact that the place is full with local people, they have music, specially the famous song Bella ciao! . They do food for the people, this is their philosophy, if you ask me. They have always fresh fish, the dishes are big and prepare yourself to eat a lot...but like a lot! I went there together with my husband for lunch, the place was full. We ordered a mix of antipasto: fresh bacala, clams and for the main dish a big plate of fish with vegetables...everything for 45 euros total. You need to book in advance as is always full. We decided to go back one day to Livorno just to eat in MELAFUMO! I just love this place and for sure I had the best fresh fish ever...in a local atmosphere, the service was great, the guys working there are very nice. Is very difficult to find places like this anymore. Keep up the good work, guys!"

Bel pranzetto semplice ma di qualità. Cortesia del giovane cameriere. Pesce buono, specialmente la bistecca di tonno e di salmone. Prezzi davvero alla portata.

We have been to Osteria Melafumo and we are so happy about this discovery. Eating delicious fish along with an authentic and genuine italian taste was simply amazing..and prices are quite affordable for everyone!We are also happy about the waiters because they took care of us since the beginning. Prenotando in questo locale sappiamo la tipologia di accoglienza. Semplice, verace ma comunque efficiente.Musica, caciara, clima goliardico.Il menù è semplice, poca scelta per un’ottima qualità dei prodotti.Eccellenti gli antipasti, il baccalà fritto e le aringhe con i ceci un loro must.Porzioni abbonanti a prezzi onesti. 12€ il tris di antipasti, 12€ i primi e una grigliata in due 25€. A unique rustic experience awaits you in this out of the way restaurant. Huge portions of fresh mussels and soft fried fish provide an ample starter for everyone, add to this a gifted bowl of chickpeas with smoked mackerel meant we were almost full before we began. The staff have an excellent knowledge of the menu and are more than happy to help you make a choice. Wine comes in carafes and is good value, water flows freely all night! We took a good two hours in a marathon night of eating and we were not disappointed by any of the food. It can get a bit hot inside so dress appropriately in the summer months

Ormai ho perso il conto di quante volte sono venuto a gustare le prelibatezze di questa Osteria e ogni volta è una goduria. Creano dipendenza. Non ho più parole per dire quanto si sta bene in questo luogo che è veramente popolare e accogliente. Per l'ultima volta ho cenato all'aperto prima della chiusura di fine estate, rispettando i distanziamenti. Ormai faccio antipasto (foto 1) con cozze al guazzetto, ceci con aringhe e il mitico e inimitabile baccala fritto. Secondo (foto 2) con grigliata mista di pesce semplicemente orgasmica con polpo, tonno, gamberi, orata, salmone e palamita con pomodorini e cipolle. Prezzi onestissimi. Vi ricordo una cosa molto importante prenotate con largo anticip...
