Cibo ottimo. Personale gentile. Consiglio la prenotazione soprattutto durante il weekend. Un po' di attesa ma ne è valsa la pena

The place has a wonderful atmosphere, the staff is incredibly nice. The food is tasty, well cooked. Price is also totally acceptable, which makes the whole experience 5/5.

Osteria come una volta. A due passi dal centro. Proprietari gentili, disponibili. Le portate veramente buone e a buon prezzo. I dolci fatti in casa ottimi. Da provare, consigliato....

Cibo buono. Antipasto di verza davvero ottimo. Location perfetta per chi si addentra a visitare il sasso Barisano di Matera. Nessun commento negativo. Forse servirebbe una persona in più a servire i tavoli.

Friendly atmosphere, good food and beer, atmosphere made even better by fantastic music from Trio Rag. Really enjoyed the lunch the location is good being slightly off from the sassi but close enough to find.

Fantastic service with friendly welcoming staff. Local dishes and beautifully presented. Informal. You can bring your dog so kids are also probably welcome. Good vegetarian choices, too. I recommend the goats cheese with truffle.

L'osteria è tipica ed i tavoli all'aperto sono in una posizione piacevole e leggermente appartata rispetto alla strada. Buona scelta di piatti e servizio veloce. Mi è sembrato un posto autentico, che consiglio. Suggerirei solo qualche sorriso in più.

Serata in compagnia , nn sapendo dove andare chiediamo lumi, tra i vari nomi scegliamo questo dopo esserci accertati che avessero posto! Locale spartano e molto alla buona, menù ridotto all’osso forse perché novembre non è certo il mese più turistico per Matera. Cibo che ti lascia poco così come tutto il resto! Cortesia e pressappochismo completano il quadro.

Having spent a long morning wandering around the quite amazing 'sassi ' (cave network) of Matera, I was determined not to get trapped in a tourist (and/or expensive) restaurant for a late lunch. On my walk back to Piazza Vittorio Veneto Noticed the Malatesta, and that it was full of families having Sunday lunch. I joined them. The menu just shouted 'home cooking ' I ordered stuffed mushrooms then sausages as a main course, not because I 'm stingy, but because it was just what I fancied.
