The used ingredients harmonized in a perfect manner and caused an explosion of flavors with best mouthfeel. Among other have been the culinary highlights the char with turnip cabbage and garden lovage, pilgrim’s scallop with citrus fruits and sour cream, lobster with jasmine rice and black garlic, sweetbread with artichoke and truffle, skate with totani calamar and fennel and unbelievable tender and juicy deer with beets and radish. Kwi with avocado and shiso plant as dessert rounded off this fantastic delicacy firework. The offered wine pairing selection correspond in a superb way with the various tasty dishes. The wines were presented by the eloquent sommelier Jo Wessels in skillful manner and he provided his explanations with a lot of interesting background information Particularly preeminent were the finely beaded 2015 Poully Fumé Ladoucette, the 2013 Chenin Blanc Le Mont (Domaine Huet), the 2015 Chardonnay Rosenberg, the Manzanilla Sherry Lustau Jerez, the 2009 Barbaresco, Basarin, Riserva from Pera Piedmont and the 2015 Riesling Ölberg Auslese from Schätzel..After this opulent meal, an espresso doppio accompanied by a superb selection of different petit fours and a velvety, cask aged Grappa was a perfect completion of a memorable meal."

We had such a great time at OPUS V. The service was perfect, the staff so beautiful, the food fantastic. It couldn't be better. I have some allergies, but they took care of me. It was wonderful. Thank you for always!!!!

The dinner was excellent. It was really nice to be able to sit outside with a wonderful view of Mannheim. The food was inspired especially the sauces were brilliant. I also really enjoyed the service. Very friendly, attentive, but never disruptive.

I had dinner with my wife coming with I must admit very high expectations. we had dinner last night in a star restaurant, never two stars. we felt that eating was very well cooked, without doubt, not spectacular but. the service of 3 of 4 people was very pleasant, 1 person delivered as if it was forced to be there. especially disappointing we are weeping, which we have received during the meal (soaking instructions). if they ask as a restaurant near 150 euro for the pairing wines, they must deliver something special. it was beautiful, but far away from great. if this had been a 1 star restaurant with better trips, from customer perspective, I would have gone far more satisfied. now I feel th...
