Opera Tavern - Carte

A friend recommended this when I asked for suggestions to go with my parents on my birthday.

The food was amazing. The service and the staff were lovely. It's cosy. I liked the atmosphere.

I enjoyed my lunch at Opera Tavern. I like the fact that the staff didn't rush us out. The food was good. However for the price the portions could have been bigger. Plus, in the toilets no soap and no toilet paper.

I ate here with family last Thursday.. The food was tasty, and we had a lovely evening. But I really want to thank the staff as I injured my knee just before arriving and they kindly supplied bags of ice, cleaned up the one I dropped, and replaced it twice. All on a busy night.

Trip to London to See Frozen the Musical, stopped in this cozy little place opposite the theatre for a pre show drink and was not disappointed, staff where absolutely lovley and welcoming, drinks on point and food was amazing! A fine small plate restaurant. The interior could use some work and a refurbishment and it is a bit overpriced (especially the alcohol) but the food is really good: charcuteries and cheese boards, croquetas, scotch egg, flatbread, iberico skewers, tiger prawns, scallops, ceviche, patatas bravas…you get the picture. All of them delicious and perfect accompaniments to a glass of wine or a cocktail.

A bit of a gem tucked away in the theatre district near the Lyceum Theatre. If you like tapas and want to share dishes with friends or just want a set menu for yourself, this is your place. The food is delicious and plentiful, you'll want two/three dishes per person on the tapas. The seafood is very well done (tiger prawns and the cod) and the meats very good (beef slices). Be sure to pre-book at the busy pre theatre times. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

We came to the Opera Tavern at lunch on Tuesday, so it was fairly quiet. We got the tapas lunch special (3 tapas from 3 lists) for 20£ each. We also each got a glass of their special of the day wine, Rami Bianco Cos . Everything was fantastic, so glad we dropped in kind of randomly. We got the croquetas and peppers to start, then the sea bream, tempura, corguette, and truffle chicken. Sooo so good for the price, would come here again for weekday lunch!
