"There are only a handful of restaurants in Ovronnaz and this is the best by far. It's a nice cozy simple alpine sort of place with friendly and helpful service and has an extensive menu of Valais style dishes dried meats, fondues and raclette all washed down with the local vin du Valais quite nice Fondant and home made puddings. You have to reserve it's casual and there are few tourists it's mainly locals, hikers and a few skiers at lunch time."

"Getting there is half the fun. In the excellent Chamoson wine area, you will find this unassuming place at the local tiny train station. The food was simple. We had tuna carpacio, and fish soup, as well as a alsacian saurkraut with meats. All dishes were very well prepared and generously served. Service was nice with good wine advice. The cook puts some asian influence in its preparations it seems, which ads to the originality of some dishes. There are also nice menus for a more diversified experience."
