"On the top of the snow head is this beautiful, rustic and spacious mountain hut with guest room and fireplace. In the warm season you can also sit outside. Regional dishes such as (natural) Thüringer Klöße or the Gehlberger Finkeböff are served, a juicy potato dish. Not to forget the very good Thüringer Blechkuchen! The holiday house also has a hiking hostel with three multi-bed rooms and a total of 19 beds. Rooms are simple and stylish with plenty of wood. A view tower is just a few meters from the holiday home. When you get up, you will be at a height of 1001 m and thus at the highest point Thuringia with a fabulous view over the Thuringian Forest. we have finished the october with a bigger group in front of location. it was super organized. the ordered and homemade food was delicious and more than sufficient. the hostes were nice and attentive. happy again. type of meal: breakfast

the staff was striving, but if the many people were stressed and energized (what might be going on in the summer? . at eating the portion “Finkeböff” was unfortunately very clear, sinking and swashing were as good as not present. Price performance didn't fit here. we should come again to this mountain, then definitiw without a return in this hut.
